Plot:
On a class trip to Japan, a young boy discovers a small black book, a book with the power to control death. Now, back home, how will he use it. Will he follow a path of righteousness, or of destruction?

Prologue:
"So let me get this straight." He looked down at the small black book in his hand."With this book, I can kill anyone I want, anyway I want." He looked up at the figure hovering above him, with the appearance of a fallen angel."Why would you give me this?" The dark figure smirked."Because I'm bored."

Areck stood in the lunch line. Soon would be his turn. He stood there, wondering what he should do with his new 'book' he picked up in Japan. Air said he could kill anyone, anyway he wanted, but who did he want dead? He finally reached the front of the line, when he felt a strong hand on his shoulder."Mind if I cut in?" He sighed."Hey Brick, the end of the line is back there." Brick just shoved him aside."Hey, you can't do that." Brick smirked and pointed to the patch on his jacket, embroidered with the letters ASU."This says I can." Brick laughed and walked to get his food. Ark narrowed his eyes. He now knew his targets.

From her table, could hear the noise from the lunch line. She rolled her eyes and looked up. Brick. She took a deep breath and stood up, holding a book in one hand, and letting the other float at her side. Evelynn gracefully stepped over to Brick, and smiled. "You really know you shouldn't be pushing in..." She curled a piece of hair around her finger, and threw a glance as Areck. He seemed familiar, but she couldn't really place him. Sighing, she turned back to Brick. "You know what would really make my day?" She hit him over the head with her book, hard. The noise echoed through the room, and Brick began to topple forwards. "If you were to go back to sports practice, like a good little guy" He threw her a nasty look and slunk off, perhaps quieter than he should. She beckoned Areck forward, to where Brick had been standing, with a more genuine smile on her face.

Ark stood up."Thanks." He took a close look at her. She looked familiar. She was cute too. "Aren't you in my class?"

"Which one? I take lots..." she laughed a little "Sorry, I dont take much notice of people, just their actions, and the consequences that follow" She laughed, twirling her jet black hair, laughing slightly. She held out her other hand, "Evelynn. Sorry, I'm a bit deep on times"

He reached out and grabbed her hand, and a warm sensation went down his spine." I'm Areck. It's nice to meet you."

She smiled. Something seemed oddly familiar. A feeling. Surround him... She kept smiling, trying to keep her composure

"Yeah, Im in history next. Cant stand it though" she sighed "All I ever hear from where I' sat is ASL this ASL that. Drives you insane" She smirked "Sometimes I wish I could teach them a lesson"

She looked a little shocked for a second, then smiled. "Don't see why not I guess." She looked straight into his eyes "Can I move near you in history? Kinda sucks being around all those do good kids..."

He smiled."Sure, I'm usually all alone most of the time. I could use the company." He felt strange. He looked down, and realized that he hadn't let go of her hand.
