So, who are you voting for? Even if you're too young to vote, or don't live here. What are your thoughts on the political race going on right now? As a Lady of Gaia, I'm all about Hillary. I agree with her politics, opinions, and think she is the best to lead our country out of this war we can never win. Thoughts?

It is a tragedy that I would have to go such lengths to explain my answer but...here goes. I am of a normal, thinking mind, would likely be called conservative today (in Northern CA where I am), and a radical 50 years ago.
I don't agree with the current Democratic opinions and politics. I don't want them to sell out or give away our country to foreign nations. So I don't want them in power and it would be revolting to me to vote for any of 'em. Socialism, shading towards Marxism, may sound good to some but stinks in practice. It is oppressive, always. Always.
Nevertheless, if, as Ann Coulter says, McCain is more socialist than Hillary, then... I guess we should support her. I don't know.
When I took a political online test "which candidate would you vote for?" it came up Giuliani. And I liked what I heard from Tancredo and Fred Thompson. But, those days of elected conservatives will have to be in the future, where they will be considered radical...I guess. Right now is too weird a time.

Glad I could make you laugh!
What I can't get over with the US voting and stuff... They have been at this since last year and the Voting day is not till sometime in Nov. It's crazy how over the top this kind of stuff goes down there... Up here in canada it's like two or three month before it's like "Oh yeah". well for me anyways...

I'm too young to vote, but here's my opinion...
I don't like a lot of Hilary's views (although I don't know many of them xp ), and Obama seems pretty inexperienced especially in the field of military. In some of his speeches he has even contradicted himself. I would rather have him than Hilary though. I'm not going to do what a lot of people do and just go for her just to have a woman president. I consider myself a republican, but I can't automadically go for McCain, even though he is full of experience, because I have no idea of his views. I think if I had to vote though, I would go with McCain.

I just heard some of Obama's plans on taxes, and now I really don't like him. It is unfair in my opinion. It's hard for me to explain it, so I really can't justify my opinion, but do a little research and you can see for yourself.

Obama.
He IS inexperienced particularly with military affairs, but at the same time, he has this resiliency that I admire.
Also, while I wouldn't throw my hands up and freak out if McCain wins, I would like the U.S. to take a much more diplomatic stance in its world affairs. As a military man, McCain seems much too heavy handed and too focused on his time in the service for the precarious image America has been presenting to the world.
McCain has a good plan for the economy and I like his views on education...but I don't see how his education plan will work and his economic strategy can be implemented even without him.

Personally, I wouldn't vote for any of the participants in this in particular political campaign. I have my reasons, but I prefer to keep them to myself.

Obama. I don't think I can take another 4 years lead by yet another warmonger.
If McCain wins, which I think he may, I'm concidering moving to Canada, or farther. How's New Zealand this time of year?
