Now we all know the combat triangle, right?

Warrior > Ranger
Ranger > Mage
Mage > Warrior

Well let us apply the combat classes to the elements of Rock, Paper, Scissors!

Rock = Mage
Paper = Ranger
Scissors = Warrior

Well let's compare, shall we?

Rock smashes Scissors - Mage > Warrior. A rock would smash a pair of scissors easy. They become useless.

Scissors cuts Paper - Warrior > Ranger. A pair of scissors cut paper. The paper then becomes ********, right?

Paper covers Rock - Ranger > Mage. A piece of paper covering a rock. That's uh... Yea... Until the rock smashes through the paper! We'll just call this little set back "Achient Magicks".

All you rangers, don't blame Jagex for your short comings. Blame Rock, Paper, Scissors. domokun

Last i heard some people saying that ancient magics are underpowered. confused ...Thats right.

Edit: But really i'm fighting as warrior mostly and every time theres dudes shooting arrows at me. Maybe not even in full ranger armor. Ranger and wearing like a warrior helm. I'm sitting like: "They'll never hit me, the runescape triangle combat system will come to my rescue".... They rip me apart. neutral

This is the way I see it.

Rock = Mages

Scissors = Rangers

Paper = Warriors

Scissors stab through rock, and also cut through paper fairly easily, because scissors defy the laws of physics. But Rock also gets up close to scissors, who are magic noobs, and pwn scissors.

Paper also owns rock due to rock's low max hit, and with the aid of scizzors dragonhide.

Then, rock makes a comeback at paper by spiking itself with scissor blades, with the aid of 94 magic and high range. Paper feels sad after this evolutionary breakthrough in rocks.

Then cabbage comes along, and totally pwns the spiked rocks, scizzors and paper. But then something else comes in to stand up to the cabbage. This is called a 99 defence meleer with a sara godsword, and cabbage totally gets his a** handed to him by this. But then again, 99 defencer with the sara godsword has had no real experience with spiked rocks, and gets owned by the farcasting noob.

And that my friends, is called balance. :3
