What is it about HIM that makes you love them? Why must you continue to listen? Is it the music? The lyrics? The heartagram? The band members? Just write any reasons you love HIM. :]

I enjoy pretty much every aspect of H.I.M.
Their music is a sense of beautiful that I don't think a lot of people can comprehend.
I love being able to relate to the lyrics and I love how it feels as though Ville and Mige, Linde, Gas, and Burton put their souls into all their songs.
It's just plain beautiful....

For me, it's everything about them. I can relate so much to their lyrics, and their music is the most calming thing in the world to me. It's helped me through a few rough spots in my life, and every time I think about that I just fall in love with the music all over again. I think that's the mark of truly great music: when it can touch peoples' hearts and change their lives for the better.
Plus, I've come to look up to Ville as a role model, of sorts. For example, his getting sober makes me want to better my own life. And I also love to sing and play music, and would love to have a career in it one day.

For me it was everything. Yhe sense of music that they used and grew from, the fact that their lyrics are all so beutiful and deep and the fact that the music they play is because they want to play it not because everybody else wants them too. And because you can listen to a song one time and it can be completely different the next time you hear based off the mood you are in. They are just a marvelous band and my favorite with all that is in me.

the music & lyrics are beautiful, ther's no need in pointing thatr out. but i love how much i can personally relate to the lyrics. and there's always a song to heal every wound or to commemorate every good thing in my life. i relate to the band as an artist myself, and him's music is one of my greatest inspirations. and lastly, their music makes me realize that i CAN fall in love, i am inspired to go out and find true love just so i can experience what valo has. i could go on, but you don't want to hear me ramble.

The smooth, deep voice that Ville produces. The melodramatic lyrics. The spine-tingling guitar riffs and bass notes done by Linde and Mige. The enchanting keyboard as Burton's fingers flow over the keys. The rough but smooth beats of Gas' drums.
I love it all. It makes me feel whole inside, happy. I love how every song has sowed all my wounds shut forever. When I think about what would have happened if I hadn't turned on my radio that day, two years ago, an heard Rip Out the Wings of a Butterfly stream into my room and fill me with happiness. I just feel different when I listen to H.I.M.. I feel indescribably whole and joyous in my heart. Like my soul itself has been set free. The words are like a thousand poems in my heart.

Well for myself, I think I love HIM from every prospective. The music is simply wonderful, for me I can listen to HIM when im happy, sad, mad, whenever, and it'll put a smile on my face. If i'm sad I can relate to the lyrics, if i'm happy I can dance around like a freak, and attempt to sing along. :]
The fact that Ville writes almost all of the songs is also very cool. A lot of people purchase songs that other people have written. Just that Ville writes them, and it comes from his heart, his mind, what he's feeling, thinking, it's just so creative, deep and beautiful. They're very well thought out, because for me it's hard to put what i'm feeling myself into words, and then share them with people and make a song.
The band members also attract me to HIM, they seem to be go with the flow, happy, friendly kind of people. Thats great for a band, i mean i wouldn't want to walk up to a person that I adore and they're a total jerk. But thats just me.
I love HIM, and always will. I just hope they continue to be together for many, many years to come. heart

I love HIM because of the music and the lyrics. Not to mention Ville is nice to look at. I continue to listen to them because it has the ability to mellow me out from whatever bad mood I am in.
