my apologies for being so inactive lately. between the fears of losing my job due to massive layoffs, being sick, the death of my cable modem, and my router being on the fritz, i'm not on gaia much anymore. it takes a rediculously long time to load gaia (or anything, for that matter) so i just come on long enough to do the daily chances. (which takes about a half hour!) hopefully, i'll be able to get everything straightened out within the next couple weeks. see y'all around.

No worries, I've been inactiveish lately too... sweatdrop I'm working on two gigantic papers, including one senior thesis. I won't be around much for the next two weeks either. sad

I've been wondering where you'd got to! It's not like you to be missing for so long! I'm sorry to hear about your work situation, I'm crossing my fingers that you'll be one of the lucky ones!!

A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight... I wondered where you'd been but since my schedule had switched I wasn't sure if you were just on and I wasn't seeing you. At least you're still out there somewhere thinking about coming back.
Good luck with the computer issues. They can be so frustrating it sometimes just feels better to avoid the internet than to deal with slow speeds. ...and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.

thanks for all your words of support guys. i may not be as active as i used to be until i get things sorted out, but i can't just stay away. i'll deal with the slow connection issues to come here. i miss this guild too much to stay away.

Best of luck fixing your technical issues and health. And I hope the work stuff can resolve for the best. I could say a prayer that some really awesome employer will cross your path with an opportunity so next time your supervisor gives you crap you can tell them where to shove that thar job.
