For a while I honestly didn't find it too exciting since I didn't like the new character they threw in. It reminded me of a digimon called Terriermon. However, I ended up with both Slayers Revolution and Evolution R for my birthday so I ended up watching the whole thing.
I wish they would of kept Revolution and Evolution R together. I would not recommend watching Evolution R first because it picks up from where Revolution left off. Although I bet most die hard slayer fans know that.
I just need to own the OVAs and I'll have all the slayers movies. I bought Slayers book of spells recently at FYE for only ten dollars.
