That's... worse than the raise I got.

WOO 4 CENTS! (1.60 gross a week)

Seriously, ******** you people that make stupid little raises. I can't even buy a bottle of water a week with my raise.

Since i work 7 hours a week, i'll get an extra $5.60. So i can maybe buy myself a very small lunch for that >.< or a coffee and a muffin once a week. Actually that doesnt sound so bad xd

You only work 7 hours a week.

Ok, your raise wins. crying

I work full time and get that pitiful amount.

... actually, I don't. If I get to keep the job I'm doing now I get to have a higher raise PLUS higher base pay.

Nope.

I remember a time when all the encyclopedias in the house were on the floor beside my bed.

Sometimes I still see flashes of pages from those books. @.@

And this was... back in 2001 I believe.

lol, are u a visual learner? I am definately, i always have the tv going in the background and when i am answering a question in an exam usually i can remember the scene of what ever i was watching when studying for that question, remember what i was looking at when that scene was on, and can recall the information needed xd its a weird system but it works for me mrgreen funny how brains work

Yes, that is why I failed at university but excel at my job.

Written in laboratory manual: *cut dorsally of the superior vena cava*

Me: HUH???? Ok... so dorsally means.... towards the back... the vena cava is... this thing... So either I cut the back of this thing... wait no, it says 'of the'... so I'm NOT cutting the vena cava... but behind it... what exactly am I supposed to be cutting then?! crying

vs.

*watches trainer do a various number of cuts*

Me: So... cut here, then here, then here, flip it this way, cut here, do a funny rounded cut here... whoa wait... I'm done?

thats weird, our uni told us that about 80% of uni students were visual learners, you would think that yours would have accomodated that more rolleyes damn illogical institutions

Maybe that's why botany was so much easier - a lot more pictures and often we had to draw what we saw in our microscopes... whereas in zoology we spent the first two days of one course defining technical words. gonk

As amazing as it sounds - I failed that course.

Mathematics (like Statistics) totally pwned me too - because they were all "Here's the formula, here's one example of how you use it. I will then not mention it again for four months and expect you to answer awkwardly worded questions on it correctly"

And they do that with all... like... 30 formulas. mad
