- If your having trouble finding the shop, simply click the image below to be taken there instantly!

- The Ole Fishing Hole
You made it to the Ole Fishing Hole, here you will find items neccessary for fishing & a few other items which really serve no purpose...

- Bait
Before you can start fishing you'll need to buy some bait. There are 3 types of bait, each one differs the amount of fish and frequency of fish you will be able to catch. A Grade Bait being the best, D Grade Bait being second best and F Grade Bait being the worse.

Grade D Fish Bait
Item Description: The package reads: 'This fish bait is rated Grade D - Fit For Human Consumption - Suitable for fish and other marine wildlife.' A step up from grade F, I'm pretty sure I'll have better chances of catching better fish using this stuff.

Grade F Fish Bait
Item Description: The package reads: 'This fish bait is rated Grade F - Not Fit For Human Consumption - Suitable for fish and other marine wildlife.' Hey, better than nothing.

- Fishing Rods
There are total of 4 different types of Fishing Rods, each one has a different skill. For example, the Distance Rod allows you to cast further. Each Fishing Rod also has an Upgrade which upgrades the overall stats of the Fishing Rod.
- When you first create an account on Gaia you will start with a Basic Rod already in your Inventory.

- Launching Gaia Fishing
To start Fishing all you have to do is select an area in which you wish to fish and click on the Launch Gaia Fishing link. There are 2 methods to opening the Fishing Game, the first is by simple choosing Fishing from the Games tab located in the main menu (This will launch Gaia Fishing in Bass'Ken Lake).

The second way is by opening the Map Of Gaia located at the top right of the screen by simple clicking the Map, a Map will appear with a drop down box (labeled Teleport) which allows you to choose where you want to go. Choose either Bass'Ken Lake, Port Of Gambino or Durem Reclamation Facility. Then choose Launch Gaia Fishing to start.

- Fishing Locations
There are 3 areas available to fish throughout Gaia:

Bass'Ken Lake [Easy]

Port Of Gambino [Intermediate]

Durem Reclamation Facility [Advanced]

- Fishing Difficulty
Depending on which Lake you are fishing at the Difficulty will vary.
- If you are new to Fishing I would advise starting at Bass'Ken Lake to get used to Fishing before moving onto other lakes.

Bass'Ken Lake [Easy]
The best place to start if you are new to Fishing as the fish are very easy to catch and do not move very far or very fast.

Port Of Gambino [Intermediate]
For people that have adjusted to fishing and wish to further their skill, the fish move at a medium pace and are somewhat more challenging to catch then the fish at Bass'Ken Lake.

Durem Reclamation Facility [Advanced]
Recommended for more experienced fishers, the fish here move at a very fast pace and can even be somewhat unpredictable in their movements (Boldurs for example which move at a very fast speed). It is recommended you have a good Fishing Rod and have practiced fishing at Gambino for a while.

- Casting
- Hooking A Fish

- Reeling In
This is where the strategy comes into play, here you have to keep your Fishing Rod in between the Red Lines or the fish will escape. Pull the Rod side to side by moving the mouse in the opposite direction the fish pulls the Rod.

- Fish Caught!
If you successfully get the Hooked Item (Fish/Junk) pulled right back to you, you will catch it!
