The air sizzled with spent energy and Autsu's breathing was labored and rough. Releasing, with some difficulty, the rough demanding grip he held Kian in, he slid back slightly, allowing air to reach those places that skin had been pressed against skin, so they might both cool down. Kian wasn't quite free though, one arm remained draped over the other boy, fingers twitching occasionally with the trembling force of aftershocks.
Well...
The room wavered when he tried to get his eyes to focus, so he let them fall closed, promising himself he'd get his fill of staring at Kian's bare form later. For now.
Well...
God but it'd been... it'd been a long time.
His mind was full of residual images, tastes and sensations. He was still shivering with it, goosebumps troubling the usually smooth surface of his skin.
It occurred to him, distantly, that he might be expected to say something now. But he didn't. He wanted to float awhile longer. For the first time in too long he felt like laughing. Giddy and strange and... untroubled.
Yeah, best to bask in that as long as possible.

The other youths fingers had been rough; had Kians skin been as pale as it once was, bruises surely would have marred it. That was alright as well - Autsu wasn't going to come out of the experienced unscathed either. Then the winged boy moved, cool air sliding over a bared torso to freeze the pricklings of sweat to his skin. Kians head was back against the mattress (where had those pillows gone? He could have sworn there had been pillows at the start of it all. And for that matter, when had his hair released itself from it's bindings? ), one knee still bent, the other leg useless against the bed, pressed up against some part of Autsu.
His entire mind was blank, filled with buzzing creatures to drown out the reminders that he was still shuddering, his breathing was still harsh and he was quite possibly in the most vunerable position he had ever been in, in either lives.
When that buzzing faded, he was almost surprised to find that he simply did not care.
The aliens hand rose, bending just enough at the elbow to flop his fingers against Autsus elbow in return; he wasn't twitching, at least, but his body was still vibrating, lips still parted in soft shudders of indrawn air. That had been... No wonder people did that without the thought of procreation.
Instead of voicing that thought, Kian allowed his head to turn towards his friend. What could he say? Silence seemed the best option. Comfortable silence, resting against one another. So, he stroked, fingers lazy and unconcious, drifting over goosebumped skin, as dark as his own had been in childhood. Autsu was... everywhere. The air, the bed, his lips, chest, legs, and right there beside him, solid. It wasn't an unpleasent place to be.

Control was slow to return, especially with the touch of fingers running new shivers through over-sensitive. Besides, he did not want his mind back. He didn't want to think of what this meant, or if it meant anything at all. He wanted to ride the emotion as long and as far as it would take him.
It was perhaps not as long, nor as far as he'd have liked.
There were things to be aware of. His throat was dry, for one. For another, he was as yet unsure how long the HQ would remain unoccupied, and there was no lock on the door. If he didn't mind the nudity, he did mind, more than anything, that his weapons weren't at hand. Besides, old habits. Rise and guard once again. After all, could they be any more vulnerable than they were at this moment?
But... wait.
Kian. Bare gray skin, dark hair, warm skin, light touches.
This wasn't home. He needn't rise immediately and arm himself. He could enjoy it.
Almost.
Without leaving the bed, he twisted to reach the nearest of his weapons, a gun, and set it almost affectionately on the pillow by his head. There. That was better. The tension began to leave him again.

Kians eyes were closed. They were closed and he wanted them to remain that way, to allow himself to float in silence along some sort of mental process that had never been there before. Autsu moved, making the bed shift under his weight and the action; Kians fingers paused in his only response.
At least the silence was comfortable.
It took some effort and another few minutes before Kians arms moved. Elbows moved back, hoisted the muscular frame upwards until he was in a sitting position. Without the support of another, lying on his back was still as uncomfortable as it had been when he was an infant. His tail was a lovely feature and fit nicely with him but when it came to lying flat on his back, the bulk of it was not a welcome feeling. Especially now.
So he turned, twisting onto his side, facing his friend. Autsus arm was a welcome weight against his side, eyes still closed, frame languid. Kian was only half aware that his hand was raising, moving over to the other alien. Skin, dark and easy to the touch, met his calloused, clawed hand. Eventually, the wandering hand rested, lying a few inches below Autsus wings.
"My weapon is near the foot of the bed." His voice sounded slow, lazy, deep even to his own ears. Kian had simply felt the need to speak; Autsu had his gun, well, Kian had his staff by his feet. It was for his comfort then any reasoning to break the silence. Then, again, in that same near-rumbling tone he shouldn't have been able to recognize as his own, Kian spoke. "No one is here."

Time was passing. Autsu let it. He let himself be reassured by Kian's words and the gun on the pillow. He let himself float, enjoy the slow fade of the buzz on his skin. He had wanted this for a long time. Why shouldn't he enjoy it. And it was so different from-
Don't think it.
No, it was just that he'd never had a chance to-
Don't think it.
Narin hadn't-
Too late now. It wasn't that the thought ruined the high, or that he regretted what had happened as a result of it. He just thought. His mind flicked on, made comparisons between the then and the now. Memory, awareness, and fear of the future. Everything that made Autsu who he was returned.
And Autsu was not someone who lay in a darkened room, cuddling with a lover. Not really. Not even when he wished he was.
He stretched, his wings opening, his toes pointing down toward the edge of the bed. And then he swung into a sitting position, and began to tidy the messy pile of clothing and weapons on the floor. He didn't dress though.
From his new position, he looked over his shoulder at Kian, giving him what could only be called an affectionate half smile.
"You are well?" Which might be, 'you enjoyed that right' or might be 'I didn't hurt you, did I' but could also be 'I hope you don't regret what we did' or even 'thank you' and was probably a mixture of all those tangled sentiments.

While he was aware that autsu was standing and Autsu was moving, it didn't quite get to his brain until his fingers curled over the abandoned mattress and no longer felt body heat. The single eye on his forehead slid open, rolling about to see the room. It was bare save for the abandoned clothing and weaponry that the other man was now picking up.
It felt like his room, back at the parentals home. Quite. Neat. Granted, in his room there weren't usually naked, winged men walking around and tidying up although Kian could not quite say that he didn't enjoy that slight change.
The cooling mattress was abandoned by him, as well, strong arms pushing himself up. For Kian, though, he was kneeling instead of being able to truly 'sit'. While his tail could rise up, the softness of the mattress would make his body ink, push the tail up further then comfortable, and that was never fun. His hair was loose. Once again, he had to wonder when, exactly, that had happened. The beginning had been a flurry he hadn't fully been able to remember.
By the time Autsu was able to look back, the lighter youth had a good amount of hair in both hands, pulling it up towards his head. Where had his bands gone? Without them, a**-length hair would not be able to be put up. All eyes open now, they flickered up towards Autsu and a single eyebrow flicked up at the question.
It was perhaps not the best time to simply say 'yes'.
"Yes." Idiot. "I am." That was better. Idiot. "Yourself?"

If Kian's response wasn't the most clear he could have made, it was good enough for Autsu. Indeed, it was comforting. He wouldn't have known what to do, if the other teen had abruptly opened up to him after their encounter. An open, emotionally available Kian would only make someone like Autsu uncomfortable. Better simple, nuanced words, words that the winged one could accept and respond to.
He was done sorting through the mess on the floor, enough so that he was able to lay the wrinkled pile of Kian's garments on the bed, and hold out the elastic band toward him. More sweet, perhaps, to tie the others hair back for him. But Autsu would have no idea what he was doing, so it was better that he didn't attempt it.
"I am well." He responded, the words almost trailing off as he rolled his shoulders experimentally. "I may need to ice that..." He murmured, mostly to himself, before refocusing his attention on Kian. "We will need to spar again, soon, if I am to learn to evade that grab you used."
It was actually easier now, to shift away from the sexual, toward the subject of their usual practices. His mind was not so clouded with need.

Kian clambered off the bed with all the grace a short man with a large tail could be given, pausing only a moment to steady himself before standing fully. With his hair band once more within his clutches, the mounds of hair were able to get pulled up into a slightly clumsy bun; single strands were still frazzled around his face. A brush would not have been out of place, here.
"You will need to ice that." The tailed man adjusted, eyes flicking around before resting on his jeans. Unlike Autsu, he was not the most comfortable when naked. Up until this, other then when he was a very young infant in either life, no one had really seen him naked. And there he was. Walking around without his clothing in the middle of the day - well, dusk, now, and feeling more vulnerable then he had when lying on the bed, half asleep and lazy.
That said, the jeans were pulled on. Bugger the underwear. He wanted his jeans on. "Tomorrow then, Tsu? It is simple, the learning. But it requires the light we lack."
Comfortable. It was how it had always been, slow and almost lazy when not at war with their own bodies and the weaponry, carefully thought out words, minimal speaking. It was familiar. Kian stretched out then, hands curling towards the ceiling and back arching like a cat. His back popped and fingers wriggled before he relaxed once more.
"Have you seen my second band? It may have snapped when pulled." A murmur, eyes sliding away to scour over the ground for the lonely elastic band.
