2/07/08 Alright here's the skinny for those of you who do still stop by the guild. Half has graciously given the guild back to me. And I thank her from the bottom of my heart. 10/01/06 -- As you can see, the guild is going through some thread-moving. We're going to implement a new subforum for journals, where your character get to write down his/her reactions to what's going on in the timeline. It will be interesting! Talk about how you hate your trainer, secretly wish that you're actually a member of the Purple Roses XD... anything =).


9/29/2006 - The guild is entering the revamp mode. The next arc will start really, really soon! I apologize for the long wait. Because a lot of the members are gone or without internet access, we will be taking another Time Jump. An ending has been decided for the attack and the rescue mission, but don't worry -- your character isn't dead. If you're alive, kicking, reading this message, and intend on participating, your character isn't dead. If you're gone or disappeared on us, we're going to assume that your character has been either killed by the Lescartes, captured as a prisoner of war, or "lost until further notice."

Since a bunch of Sect leaders are gone / dead / prisoner of war / lost until further notice, I will be opening the Sect leader application process. I will explain some more later after everything else is done.

Please accept the friendlist request from Siianna Arkeneathym. She is adding everybody onto her friendlist so updates about the guild can be given to you guys faster.


8/1/2006 - Ack, I've been so busy with pre-college and after-graduation stuff. But I guess all of my studying/obsessing paid off because I got fours on all of my APs! >>; Anyways, my computer is completely dead right now (as is my immune system). I've been sneaking online on my brother's while he sleeps or takes showers (which isn't really often, but that's another story...). Anyways, my new computer should be here (hopefully) in about a week or two. I haven't given up hope on the Order yet! I've planned too many things and outlined the plot with too many details to give up on this now!

Please be patient with me!


4/23/2006 - The guild RPs are experience a hiatus of sorts, or just a lack of participation. However, roleplaying review and lessons are up and running. All guild members are highly encouraged to join -- yes, even if you're an experienced roleplayer! This will simply be a chance for you review to and help out other members.

2/25/2006 - The second arc for the Order storyline is being planned out. If you're interested in playing a NPC as a secondary character for this part, please PM me as soon as possible!

1/25/06 - I changed the guild name to "The Order of the Roses: A Roleplaying Guild." That way, it would show up when people search for 'roleplaying' in the guild registry and bring in new members and so forth. I'm about to launch our advertisement campaign.

1/1/06 - Happy New Years! I made a map of the Order headquarters. It can be viewed in the directory. If anybody has a problem with it regarding placement and so forth, please bring it up with me.

12/20/05 - The guild is becoming more and more strict in terms of roleplaying and participation. I've been into giving second chances and generally letting things get out of hand for certain parts, but that's all about to become something of the past. With the addition of the new ranking system, I expect improvement in all areas. I don't expect overnight changes, but no more bending of the rules. I don't recall the number of times I've asked somebody privately to fix their posts or did it for them. If you mod or do something wrong, you have to change it; it isn't my responsibility and it sure isn't my roleplaying that is going to benefit from correcting somebody else's work. To improve, you've to make the effort. I've done my share -- have you done yours?


12/14/05 - The rank system is up! Mass guild PMs are also about to be sent out.


11/30/05 - Ookami, Kazuki, and Darque have recently returned to us and therefore, the roleplays are to be continued as usual. I plan on instigating a time jump again so it won't take us a month and a half to get out of the tower. I have also noticed that there are certain members who harbor a tinge (or more) of animosity towards me and wish for somebody else to assume the Captain position. If you are one of those people in question, it would be highly advisable that you take up the matter with me instead of informing other people in attempts to create a conspiracy or an overthrow. Furthermore, I believe that I have done nothing wrong as Captain. I have worked too much on this storyline to see it go to waste. The absence of members cannot be controlled and if I have the ability to will them to return to us earlier, I would. I have tried to promote guild interests and I have kept members updated on the situations of the absentees. Therefore, I will not, underneath these circumstances, abdicate.

9/16/05 - Well, the wait is over -- the guilds are up and running again! Let's get this show on the road, yes?


9/1/05 - Over the last couple of days, I've been doing some writing for the Order and made several new threads. These threads are not as perfect as they could be, I agree, so I will be doing a lot of changes to them. On another news, it has been announced that Gaia is going to do a forum migration, but with the guilds. Originally, it was scheduled for tonight, but they decided to postpone it to Monday. During the migration, the guilds will be down. Before, the expected time it will take to perform the migration is from tonight, 12:00 AM, to maybe Tuesday of next week. That is a time period of five days. Since the migration is now changed to Monday, I'm not sure when the guilds will be back up again. Before Monday, however, I highly suggest that if there are any particular posts or threads that you like or wish to keep, save them. Save the webpages on your computer, copy and paste the posts, etc. Threads and posts might be lost when they put the guilds underneath the knife. I will be backing up important stickies myself.


8/2/05 - It has been a while before an update, but here it goes! The Rescue Mission has been progressing, thanks to active participation from the members! As for the members that joined after being able to sign up, worry not. There will be things for you to do soon =). As for some recent news, the Mission will be going a tad slowly from this point because many roleplayers are going on vacation and... please say a giant welcome to Siianna, who came back underneath the screen name "Charmaine Kitteridge"! Welcome back heart !


5/31/05 - I've removed the moderator status of TanisHalf-Elven, Zabec, and xzidane69x. The later two have been logged in a week before, but apparently, even after Gwyndara's e-mail, they've decided not to participate. If they return, I might consider returning their titles. Other wise, as of the moment, the positions are open for some strict interpretations of what to do. On another note, please bid welcome to Apothecary and lunarraven! Welcome to the Order!

4/17/05 - Half Pain has been given permission to use Vonali in the storyline. Gwyndara has been trusted with the task of PMing all of the members in the guild and asking them to respond to the PM to deem them active and post on this thread.


4/16/05 - It has been informed that Siianna gave Siian's password to Half Pain.


4/13/05 - Discussion for the Gwyndara Rescue plot has begun located here. Please go and sign up for one of the parts! We worked hard to create this mission so please participate!


4/12/05 - Siianna has agreed to let her characters go on a journey.


4/11/2005 - The front page has been revolutionized! Stickies and Announcements has also been re-done with the exception of the Roster.


4/10/2005 - The front page is undergoing edit. Announcements and Stickies are being reorganized.


4/9/2005 - The Recruitment thread is currently off-limits. Do not post in it at all. Sticky in the forum has requested that all recruitment threads must be taken to the Chatterbox. Just let the thread drift of its own accord off the front page.

4/3/2005 - Captain Siianna Arkeneathym has informed the guild that she will be leaving Gaia for good and resigned her post. The new Captain is Half Pain.
