This door is the most unusual of them all, in that it seems so simple. The only indication of its purpose is a Scripture reference: Matthew 6:6. But when you open the door, you understand why.
When your eyes adjust to the dimness, you can make out a small altar opposite the door, with a total of three pews between them, and wood paneling on all walls. Two electric candles flicker on either side of a wooden cross, and scattered across the altar are a dozen or so small pieces of paper. You turn to look back out the door and see a sign.Quote: Pray for anything, for our Lord knows the desires of your heart. Jesus is the center of Christianity, and is the only mediator between man and God; we communicate to God with prayer through Jesus, and as believers it is our most powerful tool.
This is a thread to post our current prayer requests for ourselves and anyone and anything else that needs to be prayed for; it is also a way for us to show any way that prayer has been answered.
Please only post prayer requests and praise reports in this thread.

First of all, I really would like to just stop and thank God for all of the wonderful things that He has done for me in my life. Without Him in my life, I would not be as strong as I am today. Without God, I would surely crumble.
I have a few prayer requests that I would like to put in here. I have been going through a lot of hard decisions in my life, and I really pray that I can hold it together. Many times, it's hard to make the right decision, and I know that in many cases, I have not chosen to do what is right. God has forgiven me for the mistakes that I have made, but I still need His help to keep from doing the wrong thing.
My family is going through some hard times right now, and I really pray that everything will work out as it is best. Money is a really big issue right now, and everyone is just trying to pull together with whatever they have.
I'm trying to find a new job, but as of yet, nothing's turned up. I pray that I will be able to find a better job soon.
Last Saturday, Atlanta was hit by a pretty bad tornado (for it's location). I pray that everyone is safe, and that they can rebuild their lives, as many have lost their homes and cars, and many are in the hospital right now.

I have a praise actually... a good friend of mine introduced me to this awesome woman... smart, beautiful, and she likes explosions! ^_^
I think I'm going to marry this woman someday.... ^_^

I have a praise and a prayer.
First the praise. I'd like to thank God for all He has been doing for me. I've been struggling with addictions recently, and I know I wouldn't be able to get anywhere with this if it weren't for His help. He is just so good to us. mrgreen
Ok now my prayer.
I would like to pray that I continue on my road to healing, even though these past few days have been.. bumpy.. I pray that God will continue to work through me and make me strong through all that I do, and that I remember all He has done for me when I feel at the end of my ropes. I would be so lost without you Lord.

I'm just going through a lot of new things right now, and I ask for your prayer. Some changes are positive, others are sad. I just pray that I can get through everything alright, and leave with the lesson God has for me to learn.

I need strength because my parents are being over-protective now that I'm about to leave them. My brothers both need to be kept safe as one is traveling in Europe and the other (who I pray will find his way back to our savior) is living in Philadelphia.
Also, my friend has schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder so she has to deal with that and her younger sister (only 14) might be pregnant. We don't know.
Please, Lord, help us all to stay strong in your faith and help us to spread the word. Please bless my idea for an online ministry and thank you for letting me find this guild.

I pray for help, through my struggle of addiction. I just pray that God will help me and guide me to the right path and I pray that others will help me along this path and as I'm going through this struggle, I pray that God will help me find him and look for him and my gift from God.
I also pray for those who are struggling in Gaia. I pray for folclor as she's moving out, that she may be secure and that she will be forever more thankful and remain a strong Christian and I pray that you'll fill her parents' hearts with assurance and confidence tha you'll be with her always. I also pray for her brother as he ventures throughout Europe, may you walk with him and protect from harm. Lord Jesus God, please use him as he's in Europe to spread your word Lord. I pray for her brother in Philly that he may see your light once again so that he may come back to the heart of worship.
I pray for folclor's friend and Lord even as she suffers these illnesses, Lord, please instill in her heart that you are there and taht she has faith in You so that you may heal her Lord Jesus God. Please protect her younger sister who might be pregnant, Lord jesus God let her see salvation and Lord let her know what's right. Use folclor to reach out to this family and save them Lord Jesus God.
Lord Jesus God, even through this struggle of the world, thank you for bringing joy and happiness to our hearts as robenbobben's been progressing very well and that You're always there to help Lord Jesus God,. Let robenbobben know taht you are always there and you'll never leave Lord Jesus God. Lord, please be with robenbobben and please guide until healed.
Lord Jesus God thank you for bringing praise to lymelday as her sister's given birth to a boy. Lord Jesus God I pray for the health and well being of this boy and that he may grow into a fine young man with a heart fully devoted to you Lord. I pray that he may have the faith to move a generation and that he will be forever your servant Lord Jesus God. I also pray for lymelady's sister and Lord please fill her up with wisdom to take care of a great baby boy and to become a great mother. Lord please fill her with wisdom in order to take care of a strong christian man.
Lord Jesus God I pray for the best for KaimanaKenshin as he has met this woman in his life. Lord Jesus God, if this is your will, please let him marry this woman and together become one with a strong bond.
Lord, I pray for hiniki3360's friend's fahter as he fights this illness that he may know you and have faith in you to heal this man Lord Jesus God. Please keep a firm hand on this man and let him see another day to praise you Lord.
I also pray for Lyndis as her fiancee undergoes minor heart surgery, Lord Jesus God please be with him and please let this surgery be a success and by this, please remove all illnesses in him so that together, they may become a strong couple Lord Jesus God and Lord, please help her and be her salvation through her times of need. Lord let her seek your help through prayer and Lord please help her family through struggle. Please keep them together and Lord keep this family from crumbling and remain a stronghold. Lord with the financial issues, please help Lyndis ahve faith in her heart to know taht you'll be there and that you'll help her through any struggle. Lord I also pray for the safety of our broters and sisters in Atlanta through their time of struggle and through this test, Lord please help them succeed and let them have strong faith with you in their hearts.

My partner and I are going to be traveling all over the east teaching DVBS to little kids and we'd really really like some prayer support for safe travels and that we can reach these kids.
