So, we're continuing from where we left off. I'll just post the last few post we did so we have something to work off of and we can continue. CrimsonFangs ((I would love to continue this. 3nodding I think it's our first RP that we had together, really. o_O))Ai smiled a little and took it thankfully. "Thanks." She shook her hair back a little and ran her hand through it once or twice before pulling her hair back into a low ponytail. When she finished she nodded a little and looked around. "I'm ready now." She swung her legs a little and waited for them to take off. For some reason she wanted to leave as soon as possible, she didn't like the place at all. It was... rather scary. Looking down at Tkaa she smiled and waved a little. Tkaa nodded a little and looked at Kazumi.
So... are we going now? His voice spoke in their minds calmly. KagonaX [[I think you may be right...I don't really recall the first rp we had both done together.]]
Kazumi already knew the answer to that question so she decided to speak up, given that Shoji wouldn't mind, it did seem like there was nothing holding them back now. We'll be heading off now, right Shoji? She asked, just to be sure thought she was positive she already knew the answer to that.
Shoji took a moment to look over everyone as he saw Ai had gotten on Kazumi. He was thinking they were all ready to go now, even hearing Ai say she was and T'kaa seemed like he could keep up and was more then ready. Hearing what T'kaa asked and then hearing Kazumi, well the answer was a definite yes. "Yes, we're going now." He spoke, looking ahead, to where they were going. "Get ready to take off Kazumi." He spoke to her also letting everyone know they were taking off now. Shortly after speaking did Kazumi start to take off towards the sky. CrimsonFangs Ai was careful about how she was sitting so she didn't fall off Kazumi as she lifted into the sky. She wondered where they were going and thought to ask, but then decided against it. Looking around she wondered how long it would take to get there, and if she could get food there. She was slightly hungry. She also wondered about the woman that Shoji had gone into the room with. Had anything happened in there that she should, or shouldn't, know about? She was curious as well as worried.
Tkaa watched as Kazumi took off and waited until she started moving forward to follow her on the ground. He was pleased that he would continue to go with them. The two humans were interesting, and Kazumi certainly was decent company herself. Quote: Shoji started thinking about what was to happen now as Kazumi took off now in the direction they were to head in. He had that pendant on him, the one given to him by the woman, he wanted to get rid of it quickly so the faster they found the man they were looking for the faster he would be rid of it. He didn't really think to talk as they went, they were heading north, he would speak if someone spoke first but for now he had nothing to say. Quote: Ai quietly sat and looked around. She hoped they could get done soon with whatever it was they were doing. She wondered what it was that Shoji had though, and found herself eyeing him a little curiously. He hadn't told her anything, which was okay since it wasn't any of her business, but she was still curious about the situation. With a small sigh, Ai leaned back a little and gazed up at the sky. Quote: Shoji considered saying something then, there seemed to be a long silence, if not to just break the silence which really wasn't like him. He wondered what Ai could be thinking now though. He was thinking on what everyone else could be thinking. He had his mind set on what he was going to do when he got there and what the pedant's purpose was. He would hope that it didn't have any negative effects but from what the woman said it seemed that was what it was all about. "Ai..." He spoke, just loud enough so she could hear him. He supposed he should say something now. CrimsonFangs Ai had been gazing up at the sky, watching as the clouds passed above them when she heard her name spoken. Blinking a little she sat straighter and looked at Shoji. "Yes?" She wondered what he was going to say, and if it had anything to do with what they were doing. She hoped it did, perhaps then she would know exactly what they were doing. KagonaX Shoji let a few seconds of silence pass by before thinking to continue with what he thought top say. Maybe he should speak of what happened back there but then he didn't want her to think anything that would case her to do anything like worry about the situation. "We're just going to head to this town and afterwards..." He trailed off for a moment as he wondered what he should say now. He wasn't sure what would happen after, it all depended on what happened in town. He might think to let her go, no he would never, he didn't think he wanted to think too much into it now. "I just need to see someone and take care of something." He thought to add not thinking to finish what he was saying before. CrimsonFangs Ai tilted her head to the side a little and nodded slowly. "Okay." She wondered what he was going to say after his unfinished sentence, but didn't press it. Well there was something to do in another little town. She paused and asked, "Is that town as scary as the other town was?" She hoped it wasn't, she didn't think she would like it much if it was. Either way, she would stay with Shoji. She didn't want to leave him be and she didn't want to be apart from him. At least not at the moment. Ai was the kind of girl, and she knew it, that didn't like being alone, and even though Shoji had taken her from her brother she would still cling to him until she had another person to cling to. Quote: Shoji wondered if Ai would ask about the sentence he didn't finish and was a bit surprised when she didn't but he didn't think to say anything on it or finish it so he was just fine with that. He wasn't expecting her question and he gave a faint frown at it. "No, it's not going to be exactly like that town but it's not exactly good." He was trying to say that though it wasn't as bad it wasn't some place that was completely without crime. Now thinking on it a bit he looked out over their surrounds and saw they did seem to be traveling over the woods, not quite an open plain, the trees seemed to be spare though so he would hope T'kaa was alright and keeping up on the ground.
Name- Shoji
Age- 20
Class- Evil rider
Weapon- He mainly uses a sword but sometimes he uses a whip and daggers.
Personality- He's mostly distant, and likes to be an annoyance. He can be rude at times on purpose and can seem mysterious in certain situations if not odd. He prefers to be alone then in someone else's company. He's also arrogant and very cautious. He appears to care about nothing but himself and at certain times seems very sadistic.
Appearance- [Shoji]
Bio- He grew up with no family. He was taken in by a bandit and learned how to fend for himself then. He was also taught how to use a dagger and whip at that time. He went on many heists with the bandit, taking in many of his ways as he watched him from a far and helped out. It was on one of the heists he came across what appeared to be a stone of some sort and took it. It was shortly after he found it hatched and became and became a dragon rider. It was just a day after that he took it upon himself to kill the bandit that had taken him in and went on his own. It was after that he learned how to use the sword.

Personality-
(Ai) She is very gentle and sweet, but has a bit of a depression problem. She has a big brother complex and follows him every where; she refuses to let anyone near him unless they have her permission first.
(Ku) Very reckless and bold, Ku was the one that enlisted the two to be against the good riders. He doesn't take orders well at all, and would have personally been his own type of reble if he hadn't been concerned for Ai's welfare. He takes care of her and cares about her deeply, and doesn't allow anyone close enough to hurt her. If someone does even slightly make her cry, he will go after them with a vengence.

(Ku) Boy Twin (Ku)
Bio- They raised each other alone, neither knows who their parents are. When they were babies they were found by a pair of dragons and raised before they died. The two dragons are of differant elements; one of fire, the other of water. The two grew up as dragon riders on their own, and found work and pay with the 'evil' riders. They don't really know better, Ku is only trying to have money for Ai so they can live comfortably.

((Alright. :3 Oh, is Ai ahead of Shoji, or behind him? I can't quite tell.))
"Oh." Ai looked down, clasping her hands together slightly as she mused over that. "You won't... leave me alone, right?" It wasn't that she didn't feel safe with Kazumi or T'kaa, it was just that she really didn't want to be without the contact of another person. "I-I mean if you have to it's alright, I can stay with Kazumi and T'kaa, but..." Her words trailed off as she continued to look down at her hands as she gripped them in her clothes. She felt rather pathetic, and wished that she wasn't like this, but she couldn't change who she was after all those years of being like that. She was used to Ku protecting her, and as much as she liked to pretend that she was great at protecting herself, she really wasn't. Not that Kazumi and T'kaa couldn't protect her just... Ai blinked, bringing her mind back to where it had been before.

Shoji wasn't expecting the question on whether or not he was leaving or rather leaving her alone to be more specific. "I don't plan to." He spoke focusing his gave on her for a moment before looking away to focus on where they were heading. He was thinking it would be awhile before they got to their destination but that didn't mean he didn't have to pay attention to where they were going exactly. The silence from Kazumi, though he was sure she could here, either proved she was merely paying attention to where she was going or she was listening to what was going on and he would bet it was both. Hearing Ai speak once more caused his gaze to focus on her again. "If you want to come along with me then I won't stop you." That was if he was sure where he was going wasn't too dangerous. He wasn't about to risk her life when he had done all he had so far o keep her alive. However he figured, if she still looked to leave, she could take off the first chance she got to. It wasn't like he had forgotten anything that happened in the past. He didn't think he could leave her alone however it didn't appear like she would be trying to get away just like that.

"Oh, I would like to go with you." Ai nodded fervently, as if enforcing that thought. Yes, she would. "I don't like being alone. N-not that you're not good company Kazumi." Ai flushed slightly, realizing that she might have unintentionally insulted the dragon. "Or T'kaa..." She let her words drop down to a quiet mutter, unsure now if she was saying the right or wrong things. She really wished that Ku was there, Ku always knew what to say. Ku was the person that dealt with people. She had never really intergrated herself into the world with people or creatures, and had only talked to her dragon and her brother, so it was correct to assume that she had some social issues.
You needn't worry about how I feel. T'kaa's voice met everyone's mind, making the girl start as she had forgotten that he could listen in. I wouldn't mind staying behind and keeping Kazumi company instead. Don't really like to go into dangerous areas anyway... He seemed thoughtful in his last statement, and Ai peered down over Kazumi's side, trying to find where he was on the ground... and failing.

Shoji listened silently as he heard what Aoi said. S she really did want to come along. Due to the fact she didn't want to be alone. Regardless of the fact she would really be alone technically. That is he would assume Kazumi and T'kaa would be there to be her company. He was thinking to say something but heard her speaking to Kazumi then and after that he had heard T'kaa's voice after she mentioned his name. He could hear the basilisk's voice in his mind as he would assume everyone else could. So it seemed wouldn't mind keeping company with Kazumi. At least he had no problems with that.
Kazumi was silent as she listened to the conversation. She was sure she could add a word or two in but simply thought to listen and nothing more. She would have thought to say something from what Ai said referring to having her stay in her company. I take no offense to that. She really didn't at all mind whether or not Ai wanted to keep her company. Not that she didn't enjoy the girl's company but if she didn't want to stay she wouldn't force her to.

"Oh.." Ai looked at the dragon and smiled slightly. "Okay..." She still felt bad about what she had said, but didn't voice it anymore. "Then, I would really like to go with you then, Shoji." She looked back at him, a small, rueful smile tracing the edges of her lips as she did so.

Shoji took a moment to glance or rather look about and saw they should be relatively close to their destination. He was thinking that he would be able to see the town in the distance now and they would be best landing somewhere nearby and walk the rest of the way. He didn't care to bring any attention to himself. "We'll be there soon." He spoke briefly looking down at Ai before looking ahead again. He thought by now it wouldn't be long before they landed and he supposed e would be bringing Ai with him. He was sure Kazumi would know where the best place to land would be. Being the one flying and looking out for such, not that he wasn't as well, he could focus on what they would do after landing.

Oh, and the dragon's names... they were Sei... or Sai and Kai? Was that it? Or was it Sei and Kei? I really can't remember. I know they rhymed...))
"Oh really?" Ai looked down at the ground and tried to see where they would be going. She was interested in it if only because she wanted to see what it would be like, where they were going and what Shoji was doing. While she was searching, she thought she heard something and turned slightly to look at Shoji. "Did you say something?" She could have sworn she had heard her name. It had been faint though, like a small tickle in the back of her head as someone whispered her name to her. She hoped she wasn't hearing things. That would be bad. It didn't cross her mind that she had perhaps heard her own dragon calling out to her.

[[I'm feeling better now, thanks for asking. I know I probably should be resting when I don't feel well. But I'm always rather determined to get in a post here if possible.

Shoji had his gaze now focused on where they could possibly come to land. He was going to speak to Kazumi but then he heard Ai's voice. "No, I didn't." He spoke looking at her for a moment. Wondering if she was hearing things. He might have asked but thought it was best to speak to Kazumi now. "Kazumi." He spoke her name as he looked down at her to see what she might do. He could see it wouldn't be long before they arrived at their destination but he would hope she could land somewhere it wouldn't take long to walk towards the town. Not that he had a problem but he would think it more convenient. He just didn't want to be so close that someone might come across Kazumi or T'kaa but didn't want to be so far it would take longer then needed to get to town. He was thinking to say more to Kazumi but then he heard her speak.
Kazumi had seen their destination ahead and looked for a good place to land now. She had to or otherwise if she kept going she would surely be seen and attract unwanted attention. "I'm going to land now." She spoke shortly after hearing Shoji speak. She was sure that was what he had been trying to tell her. Now she searched rather quickly finding a good place to land. She would soon to to descend in the clearing she saw a ways below.

((You should rest when you're sick... I'm glad that you're determined to post, but we'll understand if you're not online. ^^;
Sei and Kei-- yeah that sounds about right. ^^ Thank you!)) Ai looked at Shinji as he said he hadn't said her name and she frowned softly. Who had said her name then? It had sent a shiver of anticipation through her and she could feel herself getting more agitated as it was. She was curious about this voice that came through. Listening hard again, she waited to hear the voice. There! She heard it again. It was so familiar... Suddenly Ai sat ridgedly, her eyes wide as she recognized the voice. Kei. And there, that was Sei. Ai swallowed the lump in her throat quickly and glanced back to make sure that Shinji hadn't heard them, but then she scolded herself. Of course he hadn't. Kei and Sei were speaking only to her. She bit her lip, wondering if she should respond... ...Kei! There was a pause and she heard the voice again, a faint whisper in the back of her mind.
Ai! Ai where are you!
I..I... She stopped and looked down. I don't know.
Keep talking to me Ai! Please keep talking!
She could hear the strain in the dragons voice and she shook her head. "I can't..." Her voice was a trembling soft note, barely heard by her own ears.

T'kaa looked up, he could hear the other dragons as clear as day though that was probably due to the fact that he was keener to listening than other creatures. His black eyes searched back before he directed his thoughts to Kazumi alone. Kazumi, you might want to inform your rider we are being followed by someone who knows the girl. It was obvious he meant for her to only tell Shinji what she knew, leaving Ai out of that conversation as Ai had left him out of hers.

"Damn it!" Ku snapped as the dragons relayed the short conversation to him. "Ai!" He screamed it at the top of his lungs. "Damn it AI! Where are you!" Still he urged the dragons to follow her faint voice. He would find his sister if it was the last thing he did.

Kazumi wasn't expecting to be told that they were being followed. She didn't think to give any sign towards looking towards T'kaa as she heard him. She wouldn't think he wasn't telling the truth. He had no reason to lie to her. Shoji there's someone following us who seems to know Ai. She spoke only to him now, wondering what he may think to say or do.
Shoji only briefly frowned as he heard Kazumi. This was unexpected but he felt he had an idea of who could possibly be following them. He did recall how he had gotten Ai and who she had been with on their first encounter. What was he to do about this. He wondered and thought he wouldn't come to change his mind on what he had planned. Land now, I don't intend to do other then what I had already planned. Not that he wasn't going to change a few things in order to keep Ai but he was near his destination and he wasn't going to pass that up just because of this. He wasn't pleased with the current situation now but he could change nothing.
Kazumi saw no need to reply as she looked towards the area she had intended to land in. A clearing that was big enough for a dragon of her size. She had though Shoji might continue on but it seemed he had other things in mind or rather the same thing. Now descending, in order to land, in a cleared spot Kazumi wondered if Shoji had any ideas towards the situation. Something would have to be done. However that would have to be discussed sooner then later so perhaps Shoji would say more. She considered this as she came closer towards the ground and had come to land

Ai looked around as she realized they were going to go land. She let her eyes search around for the place they would be headed, but wasn't sure which direction they were in. Her hair fluttered around her face as strands that had gotten loose over the ride tried to run away with the wind. Brushing the wayward strands back, Ai looked eagerly at the ground where T'kaa was waiting. For some reason, she felt a kind of kindred for the creature, something about him was comforting, though she wasn't sure what.

I just felt I was kind of playing him out of character and luckily the old dragon riders RP is still around so I was able to check it. I really have to change some things with him. Also got to look back at your profile and I think it would be nice if yours could be up here to. I just want to look at the pictures from time to time if I forget but it is nice to read over.]]
Kazumi landed shortly after descending now. In the clearing she had spotted from afar as she had flown. Now she waited to see what Shoji would do. It seemed he didn't plan to change anything or think to change anything outwardly. She wondered what Ai was thinking. She was curious to know but made no move to voice her curiosity. She could only observe what happened now. Kazumi couldn't help but briefly think over the overall situation. With what happened that lead up to this. Since Ai came around Shoji he really seemed to have changed his persona.
Shoji waited a moment before moving to get off of Kazumi after she had landed. Briefly did he look down at Ai before looking off to the side and moving to get off himself. He still wasn't pleased with the thought of being followed but he should have expected this. The ere was no way he could or would leave Ai alone now. Standing on the ground now after getting off of Kazumi he looked up at Ai. He would help her get down if she needed it, he had no reason not to. He intended to head straight towards town which wasn't that far up ahead now even when traveling on foot.

((*low whistle* Boy it's been a while since I've done this! Alright! I'm here! And I don't mind at all. ^_^ That would probably better that way... in fact, could you find Ai and Ku's profile as well? If they go up in the first post so we know names and personalities and such...)) Ai looked around curiously as they landed and noticed that T'kaa had already managed to get there before them. She waited for Shoji to get off Kazumi before she slid off herself, her feet hitting the ground with a nice solid thump. Brushing her hair out of her eyes lightly, the girl looked to Kazumi then T'kaa. "You guys will be fine alone?" She was slightly worried about them, especially if Ku was near. She didn't want T'kaa to turn him to stone because he was attacking, but she didn't want them to get hurt by her dragon either. Perhaps the few days she had been with Shoji was too much, and she was too kind and naive. She didn't want her captors to get hurt- what kind of hostage was she? Ai neatly folded her hands in front of her and looked at Shoji.
Yes, we'll be fine. Your concern is not needed. T'kaa spoke frankly in her mind, scratching his jaw with a claw mildly. You two have more reason to be careful.
Ai blinked at that, but didn't question it. T'kaa was much smarter than she was anyway. He must have known what he was talking about.

Kazumi directed her gaze as she heard Ai speak. It sounded like she was concerned. She was sure that she and T'kaa would do fine on their own. She was about to say that as well but then she heard T'kaa spoke up before she could. He said what she herself had in mind already so figured now she needn't say anything. She would simply hope that she and Shinji would stay safe. There was little she could do if something were to happen while they were in town.
Shinji had his gaze directed towards Ai as he heard her speak and briefly looked towards the others for a moment. He wondered if Ai really was concerned or if she was faking it. She didn't seem the type to do he didn't go assuming such. He thought to comment but then thought to wait for a moment before he chose to speak up. "Are you ready to head into town?" She was still coming with him whether she changed her mind or not. He didn't intend to leave her along for a second. He was ready to turn and go towards town but waited for Ai to make some move to follow.
