Blinking while staring upwards towards the sun, Sylvia sighs deeply "Kelsha, Why did you talk me into coming out today?" she asks the female who is walking next to her in a snarky tone.
The purple lioness with pointed ears next to her blinked while looking back at her, "Because you need tog et out more?" she retorted, "anyways, a nice walk down to the river will do you some good. Anubis stated that you're fur under those bandages has been starting to look a bit dry and you need to wash a bit more often." she added
With a bit of an annoyed glare Sylvia continues to walk with the other lioness, "Fine.... You know, I'm old enough to look after myself!"
"though a teen you might be, you're still not an adult nor are you out of Anubises care.... WALK." Kelsha stated to the protest of the mumified lioness next to her The sun was too hot for his tastes, but he had been in worse. Hades looked up into the sun with a disdainful stare, angry at it for shining so brightly. But he had HIS patch of river and HIS patch of land, and no one else could intrude. At least no one in their right minds. He had seen males come and go, but one loud screech was enough to make them flee. Females, on the other hand, stayed longer. He cast a glance over to a rotted wildebeest carcass, he let out a small growl. It smelled of the last female still. But now..there was another...two other smells...headed his way. Standing up, he let out a louder growl, inviting the visitors. Be they male or female...He knew what to do with them. The sun was too hot for his tastes, but he had been in worse. The two girls continued to randomly chatter between each other untill Kelsha's keen senses picked up on the distant growl. "Sylvia.. shhh" she whispered while her head perked up and ears flicked just a bit, as she tried to judge of where the sound overall came from.
"whats wrong?" sylvia whined after having her 'sister' snap at her so to speak. "What are you listening for?" she asked as she didn't follow her sisters words and kept walking forward out of protest to being snapped at "I'm searious stop!" Kelsha whispered again, this time a little more harsh, "I know I heard something up ahead that wasn't usual..." "Its just the spring time birds that you EVER so enjoy.." Sylvia replied with an indignancy about her as she cleared the grass and started down the bank towards the river, still not having noticed the source of the growl or the growl itself. "NO!" Kelsha shouted a bit as she started to bound after the teenager who wasn't listening at all ever.... Clearing through the grassline she froze as she stared up the nose of one very large, angry looking lion. "Umm....." she stammered with a slight gulp Females. Letting out another growl he took a step towards them. They were awfully attractive, unlike the others that had...passed, so to speak. The purple one...her ears reminded him of a Dactie. She may not be as stupid, but the other one, running into his territory like that...foolish. "Greetings ladies...Have you come to dine or die? I sure hope it's the former...i'd hate to kill you for wandering into my territory for no reason." He snarled. They might last longer, unless they tried to run. Fools. Having now heard the sound, Sylvia paniced just slightly and froze very close to the ground. "umm... kel?" she softly mewed, her age most definently showing at this moment in time. "Its okay Sylvia..." the purple lioness responded with to the teen. her gaze never breaking from that of the lion. "I'd rather my sister and I not die.... we had only wandered down here because this use to be the only free patch of river that had formerly been unclaimed." she stated to the lion in that 'matter of fact' type of tone though stil trying not to be rude or demeaning to the lion who the two of them had wandered territory of. His gaze rested on them for a moment, then he looked away. It was true, the other parts of the river were claimed. But maybe he could be...what one of his sisters called...'nice.' "Well, If you wish, you may continue to wander about this part...but unfortunately, going beyond my claimed area might get you killed. At least i offered a choice." Letting out a snarl that was supposed to be a laugh, he began to circle them, inspecting them throughly. Sylvia for a moment watched the male but the moment the snarl lifted from his throat she pulled closely to Kelsha. Something though about this lion completely intrigued her. despite the fact that he was midly intimidating, there was something mysterious about him as well.
"I am well aware of what would happen if i wandered to the north or south of here...." Kelsha stated, as her head turned just a bit to keep watch of the male, her voice was quite a bit softer now that it appeared as if the greater threat was no longer as imminent as it had been. "Might I inquire as to your name lion?" She asked while her tail coiled around sylvia whom she felt pulling very closely to her side. His name...it had been a while..."I am INGEN.EXP.XXX-0000XX-X." he stated, sounding like a puppet...or a machine. "But my pack-mates call me Hades." His tail whipped the air and his claws dug at the earth. "Now i ask you, What are your names? And do you intend to leave...or stay?" Sylvia slowly moved a bit closer in intreague at the lion's canting of his name. So many numbers and letters...... she thought to herself as she, being still quite immature, sniffed lightly at the male. "SYLVIA!" Kelsha snipped seeing the teen sniffing. "Don't do that.. its rude.." She added.
Sylvia's ears folded back as she cowered away from both of the adults. she So didn't understand adults and their thinking. "It is a pleasure to meet you Hades...." Kelsha then smiled while turning her attention back to the lion, though it was quite clear that her attention was split between both him and sylvia. "My name is Sylvia and that there wraped in bandages is Sylvia..." She stated with a small smile. Sylvia's ears perked at the mentionings of her name as she smiled "hullo" she purred lightly though the cheerfulness seemed QUITE strained in her voice. "If you don't mind our presence then sure... Though if we are intruding," Kelsha paused then looked at Sylvia in confusion... That was the first time she ever seemed happy so to speak.... "umm intruding.... " she repeated as she got her thoughts back on track, "Then we can certainly leave Hades..." He could feel himself smirking. "Well then...You two will stay until further notice. I sure could not bear if you were to get hurt." He turned away to walk towards the river itself, dragging his tail along the ground, then holding it straight up and stiff-like. "If you want to know...this spot sees a lot of visits from prey...plentiful."
Kelsha quarked her head slightly 'prey ..... plentiful...' she questioned herself with a bit of a blink of her eye. "I thank you greatly.." she stated, still slightly confused by the lion's kindness. Sylvia gazed upwards from her cowarding state and softly whispered, "Kel are we in trouble?"

His ears flicked backwards, towards the bandaged lioness. Turning slowly to look at them, he smiled an eerie smile, one that would make even Eris flinch. "It depends on what you mean by 'trouble', my dear." He let his words linger as he padded out into the river itself. Fish swam by at a quickened pace, but they had no need to fear...yet.

"Kel?" Whimpered Slyvia as she quickly lowered to the ground at the lion's comment.... mostly out of fear.
Kelsha tilted her head and pondered the lion's words, "And what exactly do you mean by that?" She asked very softly and humbly

In a flash, He swiped at a fish and watched as it landed in front of the girls. "You are fish. You have wandered out of fairly safe territory into another territory that is highly dangerous. Now," he walked over and picked up the fish before depositing it into a small pool where it swam again, but obviously agitated and frightened. "You are in a position. You can stay here...in relative safety as long as i am here and will not allow anyone to harm you. But there is also the chance..." He leaned down, grabbed the fish, and with little effort at all, bit it in half. "...That i might become bored of you." Nudging the Fish halves towards them, he circled Kelsha, then Slyvia, running his tail softly down their bodies and nipping at their flakes.

Sylvia gave a slightly playful swat back at the lion in responce to the flake-nipping with a slight giggling blush.
"So you're offering us protection just so long as we entertain your whims? Is this correct to my understanding?" Kelsha asked with a bit of a shiver along her length as she tried to remain unphased by the male's actions

His sweet smile returned, and he nipped at Kelsha's neck, then at Sylvia's. "You are correct. But do not worry...i am not a dictator. You have your own free will..." He finished with a growl and a hiss to the other side of the river. "...at least on this side..."

Sylvia giggled childishly while basking in the affections that were being flurished upon her, though to her own naiveté didn't quite understand the full effects of what was happening, she just enjoyed it in her own ways.
Kelsha mused over his words 'at least on this side'.... it made no sense at her. "If I may inquire, what lands do you hold, both this side of this river and what else?" she asked with a very errant questioning look upon her face as she spoke
