Riddick made his way down a dirt path, kicking up dust with his dry pads causing his legs to be littered with brown. Flicking his ear at a fly buzzing around over head he decided to find something to drink and maybe cool off his body with the sun beating down on it. Pausing every now and again to listen closely for any signs of rushing waters he turned his head towards a wide grassy hill and smiles with the pleasant thought of crisp, cool, rushing water flowing beneath him.

Stepping onto the soft grass he let out a low purr with the thought of no more painful sticks and stones jabbing into his paws. The sun suddenly began to feel nicer on his fur, more like a warm blanket then a flaming burn. Perhaps it was the thought of fresh water, maybe it was the ending pain from his walking, who knows. Flicking the tip of his tail side to side with a playful thought in his mind, leaping into the icy cool waters and swimming around until the night fell, his attention suddenly caught himself back to reality as he slowly realized that someone else had found the stream to their own pleasure. Unsure of what to do his thirst began to fall heavy on him and he slowly continued his way to the stream to take a quick drink and be back on his way.

Giving Tsu a smile followed with a slight thank you, Riddick rested his body on the ground and began lapping up the fresh clear water below, flicking his tail side to side. This was one of the most refreshing streams he'd tasted in a while and he wanted to enjoy it for a long time, but there was another waiting upon him which caused him to move faster. After finishing up his drink he sat up and looked at the black and white male who generously moved asside for him, licking his lips to make sure all the water is off his whiskers. "Thank you, again. I hadn't realized how thirsty I was until I heard the rushing water." He raised up and moved asside for Tsu to continue as he was, continuing to rest on the bank for a little while longer.

The soft grass was a great retreat next to the older Ulaya, he was quite glad that it was calm and relaxing to be around the cat. His own worries of an aggressive encounter weighed down on him and felt wonderful once they were released. "Yes, may paws are awfully tired today. It seems the ground is a lot more rough today then normal." This wasn't the first time he had traveled this area, he had been here once before with his mother and siblings but he decided to keep that to himself.

Looking up at the sky he watched a few clouds pass over the lands, white and fluffy looking they brought a cheerful feeling to him as he enjoyed the sun light. A small breeze picked up and played with the tufts at the tips of his ears, making them flow to one side. "So what brings an ulaya like you around here?"

Riddick looked over to the water himself, pondering the other's words. He wasn't sure what to say to them for he had never met another like himself, other then his own family. But even then he was unique compared to them. Releasing a soft sigh he rested his tail on his legs and closed his eyes. "I'm not sure, really. I think it started as a personal reason for being here but then my thirst got the better of me." His mother had, indeed, brought him here with his other siblings and he often enjoyed returning to this spot for memory's sake but he never really understood the real reason why it made him feel comfortable. He opened his eyes and looked back at the older Ulaya who had made himself just as comfortable as Riddick was himself. "So you're a wanderer then? I travel a lot but usually stay within the areas I'm used to." He had wanted to venture further from his home area but his hopes of his mother returning kept him staying in his place day after day.

Riddick was intrigued with the elder Ulaya's words. He hadn't thought about traveling so much being as lonely until now. Figuring the sights and sounds of the world around him would have been enough company for someone who wanders their whole life. Tilting his head to the side he looked back down to the water below and smiled. "I'd love to hear about some of your adventures." If he couldn't travel himself then hearing the great Ulaya's stories would be amazing to him, he always wondered to himself what wondrous things the world carried for him to see.

Twitching his ear with the mention of a twin tailed female he shook his head and convinced himself that he was speaking of another Ulaya, his mother hadn't ever spoken of meeting such a nice and wise Ulaya before and he was sure she would have mentioned it. "That sounds so amazing, almost mysterious like a fantasy." Riddick's eyes grew wide with his stories, utterly impressed with how wise he sounded. He almost forgot about the mention of the female Ulaya until the cat had finished his words.

"This twin tailed female, was she amazing?" He wanted to learn more and began to wonder why, of all the stories this particular one stuck in his mind. He had already told himself it wasn't his mother but perhaps her was curious if there were other ones like her in the lands. Perhaps another family member that he could perhaps meet someday.

Riddick looked in the directed the other Ulaya gestured with a smile. Finally, someone willing to spend some time with him that wasn't a sibling. Excitement filled his mind as he rose in his spot, sitting up on his rump. "I would love to join you, it would be an honer to continue out conversation." He closed his eyes with a smile as he heard the other one speak of a goddess, he knew well that it couldn't be his mother for she was only a normal Ulaya in the world of unique creatures. More normal in his eyes then in most though.

Waiting patiently for the cat Ulaya to stand and lead the way he wrapped his tail around himself and shook his body fluffing up his fur before letting it flow back down into it's place. Laying down for a while tended to pat down his fur and he felt it pressed against his side. Finally free of this pressure he rose from the ground and lifted a paw to start his walk. He was starting to feel like a little kid again, something he hadn't been able to feel in a long time, since he grew up and left his mother at least. This strange Ulaya seemed to bring out joyful thoughts in him and he found himself enjoying his company more than he ever thought would have been possible.
