Don't you hate how modern day society and adolescents have ruined the image of the vampire? Vampires where once feared and ruled the darkness of every unstable mind. Nowadays vampires are these sexy, amorous and lustful creatures that drink the blood of the person they just finished making dark love to. This is getting way out of hand. Vampires are the diamond to everyones eye for that eye has a diamond that suits it and everyone else. Novels are getting trashier and the image of the vampire is manipulated to better the convenience of sales. In such, they make the vampires righteous heros or slutty villains (whatever the audience desires). True sources of ACTUAL events and quotes on record are getting harder to find. I am so disgusted with people and their greed. Please remember who you really are. The Impaler is probably a porno now. I hate humans. Vampires are angles of sin and darkness not ******** harlottes and rockstars.

i agree with you my friend for we have ben civil since the old time why should we be down graded like this...

we need to establish some obejectives and we need more longtime members

This can be easily explained. Max, remember how you said we're beings of sin and darkness? Well, one of the Seven Deadly Sins is Lust. Perhaps the modern generation isn't as afraid of the vampire as they were all those Milleniea ago? Perhaps these humans see as lustful demons because we have lost our place in their fears?

And for those who don't know me, I am Hannibal Drake. I am a comrade to Maximillion DeDrake. I think we might be distant relatives, or it could be just coinsidence that we have similar names.

It was to be expected though. Over centuries of living in darkness humans come to believe that fear of us is ridiculous. So they will make that fear look as they fear. To some seeing our nature, our "habits" it does become lustful and it becomes something they desire to have drawn upon them. They will neglect their basic survival instincts to see us draw blood from their pumping veins.

We must also watch these fake vampires. Their problem is they are to damn noticeable. They can't tell a human from a vampire. Yet, what human truly can. They are what the media portrays us as...lustful and overflowing with sin. Yes at times we are sinful but lustful, not like the world views us. I will admit I have been tempted to take more than my share for the sake of a selfish heart but I refuse to be labeled as a nightmarish beast that can't control myself. We must set the example. Like Sol Ritter so plainly put it...we are noble...and we must remain thus.

To some humans that I have spoken with before mentioning anything about vampires myself they've mentioned they found it very much a desire to be in close contact with one and they see it as an object of desire to be near us. Which I fear to say that to some humans we have become nothing but objects of desire. It sickens me to no end to know that we are pursued instead of feared.

True, desired we may be but fear can at times do just the same. Most of the time, however, it does no good, but because of fear some do pursue us. Either to conqure that fear or rather because that fear of something unknown and seemingly dangerous is...desirable. It's just part of who we are. We are pursued and feared, desired and elevated. We are the rulers of the night...and we must play the part. Still, our past is riddled with those who have succumbed to desire and lust but we are not savage beasts of instinct.

I believe we just may be Hannibal, relatives that is. I know of the Seven Deadly sins quite well but perhaps I was too vague...

We are living sin, we live only through sin. No reference to lust, greed or pride ETC.

We kill and indulge ourselves in luxuries that we take from our victims. We continue to do so for survival, if we do not sin, we cease to exist.

I also believe a vampire has the same thought capacity and capability of evil as a human. Humans are born in sin *Biblical reference* and can be saved through their various religions in their life time. We, however, LIVE sin, not only born into it like humans... We live forever if we are intelligent enough to survive and adapt to new eras. We have no religion and can not go to "heaven" yet we live in a virtual hell.

With every life we take, the more our own life span is lengthened...

We are sin... We are darkness... But together we will thrive.

even though everything about us is believed to be sin we have to set an example we are creatures of sin we should live each day with honor very few nowdays nos what its like to live by real rules society today is like an over ripe fruit including the vampiric society i watch each day as people lose the will to work the strenght in unity and all of them turn to a barbaric hevanism we need a cause to make men great again to save us all
