Have you ever unintentionally found something you've been looking for for ages?
I went to the library to get a book that I could read in SSR in English class. And last semester, my teacher was talking about this book, and it really interested me, but he never said who the author was or what the book title was. And I was looking today, and I coincidently came across it!
It's a long a** book (713 pages), so it'll definitely keep me occupied this March Break!
It's called A Fine Balance, by Rohinton Mistry.
Has this ever happened to you?

There's one song from my early childhood that I loved and all I knew was the rhythem. I never go inside the grocery store, but that day I did and it was playing. I was like "Holey Sheet! That's my mystery song!" So I sang it to myself till I got home and looked up the lyrics. It's good for some reminiscing of the good ole days. It's called 'The Sign" by Ace of Base.

Once, one of my little brothers and his friend stole my brand new converse (which I paid $70 CAN for). I had no idea where they were for the next 4 months. I almost bought a replacement pair. Then one day I walked into his room and bumped into a toy bin. It fell over, and my shoes (a long with one of my slippers, a couple pairs of my underwear stressed , and some other random junk of mine) fell out onto the floor. I was so mad at him. His excuse was that it was his friend's idea. Apparently that meant that he shouldn't get in trouble, but he didn't care to mention it for all those 4 months when he knew that I was going crazy looking for them.

I'm glad I'm an only child (basically. My brother is 32 and lives like four US states away. xP)! I still have to put up with my bff's little brother though. He's full of it. He's like an energizer bunny. xP I wonder what on earth he stole your underwear for! Your brother has one odd little friend. xP

I envy your patience. I'd have to get carried away by the men in white coats if you know what I mean. I'm a very high tempered and spazzy person in real life. xD The only reason I'm not like that on here is because I can either come to the pps, or just turn off the computer. Can't turn off real life. XD

yeah you can- it's easy: 1. lock yourself in your room 2. turn off all lights 3. acquire soft things 4. sit on the soft things 5. put blanket over your head 6. play music really loudly 7. ignore everything going on outside of your blanket 8. remind yourself that what you are doing is in no way emo at all

Well after school that'll work. I guess at school, this is what we have friends for. xP Mmm. I know this is random. But this Orange Mango Lip Balm is delicious. >.> XD Tastes like an orange and mango salad. So refreshing. It's home made by this little shop that delivers to the local LoRex drugs. They have a picture of goats on the front. It's soo adorable. Sorry for the veering of topics. I'm renowned for that. XD

The best way to find something is to stop looking for it. I very rarely find anything when I'm actually looking for it. But if I stop, I either remember where it was, or I find it weeks later when I don't need it anymore. I usually have a general idea of where everything is, but some things just slip under the radar. Like books. D:

There's this place near where I live where they have goats living on the roof. It's pretty freaking awesome

I once could NOT find my red parisian fan on Gaia. I asked all my friends if they had it and checked my storage and all of my mules. Do you think I could find it? Absolutely not. I finally decided I must have sold it without remembering, which disappointed me, because it's one of my favorite items. Then one day I went into my Gaia house on a whim, where I NEVER go, and there it was on a shelf. *headdesk*

Yes. D': I lost like, $100 before and I found it hidden under my brother's pillow. I had to clean his bed, and there it was. I knew it was mine because I drew on the prezzy's faices. I gave 'em Hitler stashes. ;D Then my brother stole my guitar, my favourite shirt, and other things. It truly pissed me off. He even steals my PINK Van's. And he's a boy. D':
