I listen to J-pop and techno. But I like classical a lot too... Bleh, i think it's because I'm asian.

I listen to anything except country, rap, and tweeny pop.
I'm going to sound like a total dork, but I have nearly 500 Disney songs on my iPod. I also really like showtunes.
I'm currently listening to Rooney, Goo Goo Dolls, Gin Blossoms, Foo Fighters, Bon Jovi, JET, The Verve Pipe, and Nickelback.
Tomorrow I may be listening to something else.
I do have some J-pop, somewhere, but I don't think I've listened to it since high school.

The song I've got playing at this exact moment in time is "Anytime" by Eve 6.
Basically, I listen to everything except country & rap.
Some of my fav genres are: techno, trance, club, celtic, j-pop, indie, rock, metal, punk, grunge, 80s, 90s, & most stuff labeled alternative.
Now "Sleep with Myself" by Prozzak is playing. lol

I like listening to various kinds of instramental (not just classical) and Christain music (Barlow Girl is my favorite). I also tend to like other kinds of music that I hear, even though I don't know who sing the songs most of the time. I can't stand coutry, or music from anywhere before the 90s in most cases.

Family Steel Band (I don't think steel band music can be sad. Ever. It's so peppy.)

I also have yet to meet a musical I didn't like. Wicked is my favorite, followed by Spamalot, Camelot (Arthurian legend buff), The Music Man, Annie Get Your Gun, Sound Of Music...and the list goes on. But Wicked is far and away the best.
