Proffesor Crawfords Monster guide to the flooded world

Underneath the vast new sea lie eiree and dangerous creatures. With my guide i will tell you about such creatures, and how to survive them. I will also tell you what is the most valuable part of the creature (so you can make yourself rich, haha!!) So without further ado, lets begin.

Neon Jellyfish: Just like your average jellyfish except they seem to have a neon light that attracts smaller fish to them. the whole jellyfish is very valuable
Needle Jallyfish: These tricky buggers shoot out venemous needles from their stingers, once the needles come in contact with a random sailor, he will die in about 30 minutes. If you can try to obtain some of the stingers for an antivenom.
Nitro Jellyfish: also known as the mine jellyfish. The most dangerous jelly out in the sea. if a ship comes into contact with one of the little bastards they will explode on contact. Severely damaging the ship. Stay away at all costs, do not even try to capture it!
Rock Lobsters: Stone lobsters that have grown to the size of a large dog! These tricky fellows have an extremely hard shell that protects them fairly well. Their claws also have the power to crush bones easily. (But they are very tasty, and make for a great meal)
Sea Snakes: these snakes are not so normal as you think. They are as big as a labrador retriever. they are also extremely venemous, killing their prey in about 5 minutes. their fangs are worth over 100 gold
Camo Sharks: These sharks have a special skin cell that camaflauges with their sorrounding enviornment. Usually travel in packs. These sharks are tricky because once a ship is damaged it sneeks in through a hole on the ship, feeding on the bilgers! If you can try to obtain some of its skin, it makes great camoflauge.
Kamikaze swordfish: They get their name by killing themselves in order to kill their prey. By using their high jumping skills, they jump through the air and stab sailors with their snout. Highly dangerous in groups. AVOID! (Side note, if you can, try to obtain the snout of the swordfish, its worth over 300 gold)
Razor Dolphins: Your favorite friendly dolphins, but with a twist! these dolphins have grown razor sharp teeth thanks to the pollution. They have also grown tremendously in size, about the size of 2 normal human adults. They tend to show up in reefy areas. Proceed with caution. Also, Razor dolphin meat be mighty tasty!
Giant Water Striders: Not only did fish change in the flooding, so did bugs! These spiders are bigger than an average human man. These water striders glide along the water silently, once they close in on a ship they crawl on board and feed on the crew. Highly dangerous in groups. (their fangs make great daggers!)
Giant mosquitos: Along with spiders, these small annoying bugs have turned into deadly creatures. With a snout sharper than an average blade, they impale their victim and suck out their blood. Packs of these bugs have killed over 100 crew that have gotten in their path. Proceed with caution if you hear the flapping of giant wings
Siren mermaids: These arent the kind of mermaids you see in the fairy tails. These evil wenches will attract all men in the area with their seductive voice, then once their victim is close enough, the siren impales her victim with her sharp tail. If you hear any heavenly singing in the area, swim away fast! Because they're so dangerous the tail is worth over 5,000
Sea Dragon: These damned beasts have killed more of my men than any other sea creature. The sea dragon is a giant serpent with luminous yellow eyes. Once the dragon gets close enough it wraps around the ship and crushes it instantaneously. If you see any yellow eyes in the sea, pray for your life. (the eyes are also great for making various objects worth over 18,000)
Super Croc: Along with salt water fish, fresh water fish mutated as well. Super crocs are mutated versions of normal crocodiles. they are about the size of a school bus, have razor sharp teeth, and have a taste for flesh. Known to hide in areas that use to be swamps and marshes.
Acid squid: This squid has one of the most powerful acids in the world. instead of ink, this squid will eject a green liquid that will burn through even the toughest metals. Never sail through a pack of Acid squids, if you do you'r an idiot.
Neo shark: The biggest shark ever since prehistoric times. Almost as big as a normal warship. This shark has the power to bite huge holes into a ship. The only weak spot is in the gills. Never sail in an area that has had a Neo shark sighting.
Arc Whale: Nicknamed the guardian of the sea. Arc whales are like the guardians of the smaller fish, they get angry when fishermen swoop up schools of fish. they are triple the size of a blue whale. It is around the same size as a large mothership. This giant whale is one of the most dangerous fish in the sea. this monster has skin tougher than any material on earth. An arc whale will release a sonic boom that is extremely powerfull. The sonic boom will shatter ships in an instace. Some of the warning signs of an arc whale
1. Every single electronic device within a mile radius will stop working.
2. A green mist will appear arround your ship.
3. You will hear a deep warning call from the whale to signal other fish to swim away, but once you hear it, it'll be too late
(side note: Their skin is the most prized posession in the sea. Merchants sell it to help reinforce sailors ships as armor.)

Mythical creatures section

These creatures have been told of by numerous sailors, there is still no proof of there existence, just a trail of death and sorrow.

Creepers: these mysterious beings are the equivilent of a sea zombie. Thanks to the flooding of power plants, the nuclear waste has covered sailors in a heavy sludge, turning them into wild beasts. Ships have been found empty and blood covered, the only traces of life are the little piles of sludge leading away from the ship.
Maelstrom eel Whirlpools happen almost all the time in the sea, but its caused by nature, right? Well some sailors believe its the work of a sinister eel. Sailors say this beast makes giant whirlpools to topple ships, then once a crew member gets close enough to the center, the eel pops up from the water and feeds on his prey.
Centipus: This fabled beast has said to have the appearence of a normal octopus, but only with over 100 tentacles.
Super Croc King: This is no ordinary super croc. it is fabled to be 5 times bigger than a super croc. the only evidence of its existence is the various limbs of sailors drifting away from what used to be their ship
Island Turtle: The most feared sea creature in the entire world. The island turtle gets its name because its a mutated turtle as big as an island. When the turtle rises or sinks, giant tsunamis are created. Also if ships are underneath an island turtle rises they will topple over. There has only been 3 sightings of this beast since the world was flooded, and all 3 times the beast has left chaos for miles.
