Pi yawned as she lay, curled inside a hollowed out tree stump. She'd been sleeping a lot longer during the long, cold season but it seemed as though the birds had returned to the woods with delighted song for her very own ears, whispering about the budding season to come soon.
With her spirits raised she stretched out her paws and slipped away from the stump, moving through the woods with her tongue hanging from her mouth. She could just see the edge of the forest, soon she'd be in the grass lands!

Oki had been up since very early in the morning hunting for a meal. His aim today was for a deer, ideally a male deer. Female deers he hated to kill since they supplied the forest with more deer meat.
Oki had to be careful not to be noticed or heard. His body build was pretty big for a wolf which most beings may think gave him an advantage. Quite the opposite in reality; he had to sneak around the woods more carefully and put more of an effort into not being scene by a pray or other wolf. His bright red and blue pelt also put him at a disadvantage in hunting.
Despite all this the big red and blue wolf stalked the woods making sure not to make a sound. Concentrating on every step he made and every area around him as he did so . Truly this was no easy task at all but the male was a great warrior and had much practice in the art.

Pi moved into the field with her tails swishing back and forth, a smile beaming on her maw. "Good morning little birds!" She shouted up at the trees, which caused many of them to burst from their hiding spots and fly out into the open sky. She laughed and raced after them, though on the ground, barking up at winged creatures.
When she could see them no longer she spun in a circle, pouncing at some of grass just peaking out of the snow. She was feeling very energized this morning, it was a good day to play!
Though, it was probably not a good day for any who were hunting nearby. She'd probably just scared all of the prey from the forest with how loud she was!

A flock of various birds were set free into the sky. The birds chirps and squawks was like a domino effect through out the whole forest sending creatures big and small out of their hiding places in a cloud of confusion. Oki was not excluded from this group. What in the blazes had set these animals off and why? His tails twitched with a slight annoyance as he now trotted in the open not caring how loud his paws steps were. There was no point in hiding now.
Was not the end of the world and the wolf knew it, the field near by probably had some animals unspoiled. The red and blue wolf trotted til he got to the edge of the forest where it met with the feild. There he saw a brownish grey wolf playing with out a care in the world. Probably what set off all the animals earlier. Didnt matter now though and Oki was not mad.
