STORY: ((Note: It is preferable if you have read at least the first two books of the Twilight series to participate in the RP. There is a spoiler warning in effect for this RP. No spoilers past the second book, please.)) My name is Bella Swan. I am eighteen years old, in my senior year of high school. I have a very bad case of what some would call "senioritis;" in other words, I manage to get away with skipping a lot of school. This gives me time to spend with my boyfriend, Edward Cullen. Edward's family is strange: for one thing, none of them are related by blood, and two of his adopted siblings are married to one another. Also, the five "teenagers" and two parents are vampires. You can think I'm crazy if you'd like, but I know the truth. None of them have aged a day since I met them a little over a year ago. They are too flawlessly beautiful to be real, living human beings. Edward is the love of my life, regardless if he is a vampire or not. He and I are very happy together, but things can get... complicated. Sometimes, he has that unquenchable thirst and things get... dangerous. Not to mention there are people after the Cullen family, which, in turn, means they're after me. And these people aren't very nice..... She moved to Forks, Washington with her father, Charlie, a little over a year ago. Upon starting high school, she met a boy called Edward Cullen, who had four siblings. Later, when the two became closer - Edward originally wanted nothing to do with her - he tells Bella he and his family are vampires. At first, Bella is somewhat skeptical, but then she realizes she doesn't care; she is in love with him. Edward Cullen: (MidnightWolf91) A beautiful vampire; he fell in love with Bella upon seeing her. Afraid, he tried his hardest to avoid her, but was eventually unable to resist her. She has the abilitiy to see into the future. However, what she sees is never set in stone... Jasper Cullen: (ship-wreaked) One of the Cullens that does not want to get too close to Bella, one of his reasons being he has a harder time resisting blood than any of the others in his family. Jacob Black: (Reikadeniah) One of Bella's best friends, a sophomore in high school, he lives on a Native American reservation called La Push. He has a very large crush on Bella, but the feelings are unrequited, although Bella continues to send him somewhat mixed signals. It was unusually sunny for Forks. Sure, there were clouds - many heaped together in white, cotton-like mountains - but those clouds kept breaking to show the sun, its natural light harsh on my eyes. I was too used to clouded gloom and rain; it had been far too long since I'd seen the sun.
Actually, "too long" is never long enough for the sun to be gone. For with the coming of the sun, I am unable to see Edward Cullen, love of my life.
It may sound corny, like a bad romantic comedy, but it's true - I love him. Regardless of the fact that he sometimes has a thirst for the very blood that flows through my veins.
This just went from a bad romantic comedy to a bad teenage horror movie, didn't it?
Yes, Edward is a vampire. His family chose Forks because there was rarely any sun. But today was one of those days - one of the days I didn't get to see Edward.
And it wasn't just today; it was yesterday, and the day before that. It had been unusually sunny all week, so far, and I was hoping the trend would break soon enough; Edward hadn't even come by at night for some reason. I was hoping dearly everything was okay, but, me being Isabella Swan, I had a feeling of dread buried deep in my gut.
Clouds blotted out the sun for several moments outside my bedroom window. I looked up from my computer hopefully, only to find the clouds about to reveal the sun once more. I sighed and looked back at the computer monitor, mindlessly playing a game, not really paying much attention.

The man called Edward Cullen was inside his home looking out at the sun...he didn't want to go out if he didn't have to but he just had to see Bella..."Isabella Swan" he smiled slightly at her name..the name that had changed his life and future forever.
"The glory of first love.." he muttered.
He looked out at the sky again, "It's been a couple days since I've seen her and I have to make sure she's safe.." he told himself as he got his keys, getting in his car he "drove" to her house and mintues later he was in her driveway, still covered by the clouds and the rocks on the road still, as if nothing drove by at all.

I heard a car door close and instantly knew it wasn't Charlie - the slamming of the door sounded different. When Charlie closed the cruiser's door, it was usually hard, out of frustration of the day's work. This was too gentle to be Charlie, and I knew of only one other person it could be.
I made a mad dash out of my room and down the stairs, flinging open the door and bounding straight into Edward Cullen.
"Edward!" I cried joyfully. "How did you make it here before the clouds broke? Come in, hurry!" I ushered Edward over the threshold and closed the door quickly behind me.

"Edward," I breathed. "God, I missed you."
Just the man to break the most perfect moment, another door slammed outside, and I recognized it immediately as Charlie's. I was reluctant to break away, but I knew Edward would be on the other side of the room in a matter of nanoseconds.

I gasped slightly at Charlie's haggard, worn expression. "God, dad, are you okay?" I asked, already heading for the kitchen. I rummaged in the cupboard for a glass, found one, and put three icecubes in it, running cold tap water over the ice and giving it to Charlie.
"I'm fine," he said after chugging the water. "Just a reallly..." he paused. "...Really long day." I couldn't help the feeling he was keeping something from me; it was always easy to tell with Charlie.
"Dad, what happened?" I asked cautiously.
"Bells," he said after several moments of silence. He met my gaze, and his eyes, though bloodshot, held a sense of worry. "I don't want you to be afraid. But I got a call about a breaking and entering, as well as attempted assault." He sighed. "It was at the Cullen place."
My heart skipped a beat as I thought of Edward in the living room. Had he known about this? Or had this happened just after he left?
"I was already off duty," Charlie explained. "In fact, I had just gotten off duty, and I was on my way home. My cell rang and... well, long story short, I have to go back out. And it looks like it might be a long night." He thought for a moment, chewing on the words he was about to say. "One of the daughters, Rosalie... she was the attempted assault victim. Tough girl she is, she must've managed to fight the person off, but... there's no trace left behind, apparently. But that was just the preliminary investiagation. So-" he stood up straight "-I have to go back out. I don't know when I'll be back, but I'll be back." He smirked and turned for the door, exiting the house.
I sighed and walked to the couch, flopping down on it. "Maybe you should get home," I said. But the thought of Edward leaving so soon killed me. "I'll come with you."

I sighed exiting the shadows that i had come so accustomed too.."I knew nothing of the assault.." I muttered, turning away slightly. "You may come, but let me protect you.." I said, wanting to keep her safe. I opened the door and started to head out, waiting for her to follow.

I looked out the window and saw edwards car pull into the drive way. The house was all in ditress, and i smiled as i saw my best pal walk in. "Bella! What are you doing here?" I looked at my "Brother". We both knew that right now, right here was the worst possible place for her to be. Especialy with my vision i had this morning......

I jumped and gave a little yelp as Alice's voice sounded behind me. I turned to face her, and my face broke into a wide grin of relief as I hugged her.
"Alice!" I cried. "How are you, are you okay, do you know who did this?" I asked, unable to wait for her to reply to the first question before asking the next.

I sighed as I watched Bella and Alice.."DO you know anything of what happend?" I asked ALice as i looked her over making sure she wasn't hurt..
