It had been three rises of the sun and two moons since she started her journey. Her paws were tired, her body weak and sore. Unable to rest, and never a moment to try and find something to eat. The cheetah had to at this point. Her mouth parched and desolate like the desert she happened to traverse a day ago. " It only would have been easier might I prepared for this..." The words rattled through her mind, embedded in the winds of her thoughts. Over and over images would play, her only entertainment if it could be called such a thing, was the constant persuasive company that tagged on her heels. Other females would often offer challenges at her appearance. It was something she was always forced to face.
"Outsider!" One would cry, fangs barred in a moment's glance at her when out of misfortune she did venture into foreign lands.
"Leave!" Another added from the dense grass not so easily visible. She could remember how those eyes burned with hatred. The glow, that light of those eyes like so many times before tried to look down on, judging her.
She was constantly misunderstood. Kisirani was alone, a rogue. She only remembers in dreams fragments of her past. Her mother, perhaps a father. A family. She hesitates when these ever come into her rational thought. Sleep. When it was time to rest, a rare occurance indeed for her, after an exhilarating workout with her paws, it felt as if they were there. A voice always guiding her wherever she ended up.
"Run, Kisirani. Run with your head held high." This voice comforting to her on many passings of the moon. It was one thing she could recall clearly from the dreams. Her smaller self in the comfort of this larger female, perhaps her mother. Laughter heard as she tried to run with this figure. The wind always against her nose and ripped through her fur when she tried to keep up. "You are doing great, just a bit more." The phrase spoken through this race, encouraging for the smaller version of herself to run as fast as those paws could carry her, coming neck and neck with the larger one. In a flash she would awake. Where she was, or what was around her would come crashing into her senses in a blur.
It was silent and the moon was the only thing truly visible tonight. The cheetah had stopped her running and was standing by a pond, the nuturing glow of the orb in the sky lighting where she was. She turned around three times to survey the surroundings. "How did I get here? Oh...right...that" A few light gasps for air leaving her mouth. She must have been too tired to focus exactly where she was running, and her paws did the work to take her clearly somewhere else she had no idea where. "I should be far enough away now..." Her dry mouth stumbled with the words as if to comfort herself. Her paws ached and burned. Her body starts to give and her hinds plop to the ground first, glad something was there to sit to. The cheetah does know one thing she could be thankful for, her speed. Running was something she was blessed with, or was it a curse? She was always moving and never stopping. "None of them should find me here..." She whispers to herself to boost her weary spirit. She could only hope that none had followed her on her escape, but right now she was thirsty. Trying to clear her mind, her eyes descend the pool of liquid before her to look at her reflection. A sigh given and her mouth lowers to take in its cool depth, lapping it gently with her tongue.

The days had rolled along slowly since she had lost that essential thing. the problem was, she couldn't remember what the essential thing was. She could see it, them, she could see small shadows watching her but she could not truely hold on to the full picture. She knew she had been wondering for days, but really that was the only thing she truely knew and could cling on to.
Her slender frame padded along lost in a foggy mist her soft grey eyes deep and lost. her cool eyes found the sight of water exhilerating and for the first time in days she lifted her head to move towards the water her nose dipping to freshen her parched tongue.
It didn't take the little cheetah femme long to let her eyes settle upon the other female cheetah, though she felt dazed for a long moment, like the other was just some random dream created in her fogged up mind. "Hello." She whispers her throat sounding rough and dry despite the drink she had just taken from the crystaline shimmering pool. She had to check, check this wans't a dream, she was definately speaking to someone, right? This wasn't her imagination?

Kisirani's jaw would agape. Her tongue ceased licking at the cool water when a voice was heard, springing her to attention. She began to move backwards, primed ready to start running. Her paws still ached with each step she took. Impulses in her brain were telling her to be ready, but she could feel there was more pain in this and the risky part in fleeing would be she would not get too far without hurting herself. "Who...said that?" She replied nervously over her thoughts, her head moving left and right quickly in order to be aware exactly where it was coming from. "Show...show yourself!"

Slipping from the rushes the sullen little female stood tall her odd pale blue and rustic purple coat shimmering in the moonlight. She wwas in fairly okay condition considering, her coat, though a little rough still shone with some sort of healty lustre. "Theres no need to be afraid. I'm not going to hurt you" She whispers her voice still sounding choked though it seemed by now that this was her natural voice, though perhaps it was a little less bouncy than perhaps it had once been.
"It's not like I'd attack another cheetah, whats the point?" She raised a sardonic brow, was this other female going to be skittish all the way through this meeting? She wasn't sure if she could cope with that without taking a snap at the other. She didn't have the enrgy or the audacity to attack another cheetahress, after all this wasn't her territory, as far as she knew, she had been wandering for days so who knew where she was. This was certainly not home.

The cheetah's mood began to relax. Claws would ease off the earth they were entwined to, slipping them into a more calm position. She was too tired to run at this point if it were hostile. When the figure moved closer she bowed her head in greeting. Her breath was still tied up in her thoughts before a word could be spoken again. Kisirani again sat to her rear, her small tail would twitch side to side.
"You are the first to think so..." She boldly replied when her senses calmed, feeling the words churned from her stomach. She was used to lunges at that point or a swipe of a paw, but this one actually would speak not as others have before, it was strange. "Do you know where this is? What is this place?" The words had their way in pouncing off her tongue, as if her mind could not avoid them in being spoken. Maybe for a moment she could finally rest, at least now have one local to the land not trying to kill her on sight she thought.

Zambarau looked the other cheetah over quietly, she wondered was this other younger or older than she was? Perhaps older, she seemed to have been through alot. "I don't make it my place to attack others." She stretched her long slender limbs before she sat her long tail twitching in the dirt.
"I havn't got a clue. I'v been wandering for days, I htink." She paused for a moment she didn't have a clue where she had come from or whos territory this was. Did it matter? She didn't think so.
"Just another stretch of savannah I suppose, this isn't your territory either thern?" She asked in a rather bored voice though she had reall;y already deduced that she was just fishing for questions for the pale blue, tailless female.

Kisirani's mind absorbed the words, her ears twitching while she appeared in thought how to respond. "I wish I had that luxury and to not keep running. I might have enjoyed the scenery better." She smiled, feeling herself relaxing more in her company. This other female was like her in a way. Kisirani let her paws dip against the softer soil near the pond. It was soothing to their throbbing, giving a soft sigh of relief once they could be settled. "Running has it's advantages, but if I must run that much again too soon I surely think I will not make it." She smiles again, perhaps to lighten the mood for once, and under the glowing sparkles of the sky, she felt in need of the cheering up from her trek.
"I do not belong to any lands, nor do I have a family to which I am a part of. I roam the savannah how I always have." Her eyes follow the other's form and then looks back to the pond. Their answers were relatively the same. She was doubtful to ask anything further along that topic. She could feel herself becoming more parched and tired when the words hurt her throat to speak. "If you are thirsty it is big enough for both of us to drink. I do not mind sharing the water." She tried not to cough at how dry her mouth was, gesturing with her right fore paw the pond before them.

Zambarau smiled and nodded, moving to the pools edge she lowered her head to partake of the cool, calm waters. She was thirsty though clearly not as parched as the other. It didn't take her long to lift her head and lick her lips before she started to groom her pale bluish features while she waited for the other to finish.
This was such a strange meeting for her really. She couldn't remember if she had been around other female sbefore and if she had, she didn't have a clue what she had thought about them.
"I heard a rumour about a coalition of cheetahs, I'm heading in that direction. We can go together if you like, it'll be easier to hunt together than to hunt alone, thats for sure."

Kisirani's face remain fixed to the refreshing water. Each lap of the tongue drawing her back to revitalization. Her ears tuned in to listen as she finished up. Once through, droplets of water would drip against her lower jaw, wiggled off by her nose in its discomfort. She would face her once more.
"That would seem like a good idea. " The sound of her stomach could not be so distant now from other ears of the cheetahs. "The sooner the better." She found herself speaking bluntly before thinking.
"Forgive me but I have not given you my name. It is Kisirani. What might yours be?" She smiled, letting her tail slide behind her to each side.

Zambarau looked at the other female calmly. "Food wouldn't be too bad an idea either." She smiled getting to her paws. "I go by the name Zambarau.." She paused for a moment, yes that was definately her name at least she hadn't forgotten that.
Smiling she got up to walk away from the pool. "Come on I think theres a small herd of antilope near by, we can catch somethign easily together." She tilted her head in the direction she was headed her tail gliding low behind her.

Kisirani's tail swished behind her, touching to the ground briefly when the other gave her name. "It is good to meet you." She felt a small smile begin to grow on her face, perhaps with water calming her nerves she could be more civil. The cheetah nodded at the mention to where they should trek next. "I suppose we could. I am not the best hunter, but there has not been much that could get away from me when I needed it." She reassured herself to the other and started to rise.
"Zambarau, do you normally hunt with others?" She asked, starting to walk the direction pointed out to her. Her paws still ached but the change of pace was actually quite soothing to her. This might not be so bad, she thought. With someone around perhaps she could take it much easier for awhile. Running would not be a chore or just for survival...although they were about to go hunting. It would help if at least one of them has done so more than once. Kisirani had once before enjoyed the thrill of a group, but that too felt like a long time ago. Her mind worked on this briefly while trying to relax her paws from each step. It was not going to be an easy night to get food, but she would try with company involved.

It was a good question, had she hunted with others before? She couldn't remember. Perhaps she had, certainly the idea appealed to her. She could faintly see deep brown, a mane perhaps? She shook away the image and thought an answer up "I suppose I have, but it was some time ago." She let a quick smile grace her maw as she slippedin to the undergrowth, the long grasses disguising her slender form.
She paused for a moment, her tail flickering in that telltale cheetah manner her eyes hooded against the sunlight. "Ahead." She whispers looking the other female over as she thought about what they must do. "I'll go around to the other side of this herd, I'l send you a signala nd you run out and chase them towards me, we'll eat well tonight." She smiled slipping off throught he long grass, a silent huntress.

She nodded and soon slipped into the thrush too. Quiet as could be for her to not draw too much attention. Her eyes focused in the darkness of the night. They surely had this veil to work under. Kisirani's mind worked to keep her focus intact. She longed for the taste of food and the hunger grew with several pains within her stomach with each step she embarked to her waiting spot.
"All I have to do is get close enough to pounce and drive them over to Zambarau and we can feast." The words were against the back of her mind and near her mouth for disposal, but she dare not speak them now. Instincts flourished as she attempted to single out which antilope would be easily obtainable. There were several that had strong legs, and a few others that were small. They wouldn't do. They would be quite a challenge in her current condition and the small ones would not make enough food for the both of them. Kisirani keeps looking, careful in maintaining her camouflage and not to make a sound. Her heart began to pulse much faster. Anticipation to when Zambarau would give the signal, crouching herself from where she was positioned. Then she saw the perfect line, those four would be adequate to run against and there was enough space when given the signal she could push them toward her aquaintance. Paws began to sink into the soil, her rear wiggled ever so carefully, fluid but silent until Kisirani became perfectly still, taking breaths carefully from the tall grass and awaited when Zambarau was ready.

Taking int he deep heady, heavy scent of the herd Zambarau watched, carefully, her odd coloured form invisable in the shadows of the dark. She had hunted in the dark before, she knew that without a moments thought, her eyes shimmered silver in the dim moonlight, a gentle cooling breeze rushing through her thin fur.
Then, she was ready, she waited for only a moment to allow her tail to flick above the grazz, she knew the other female would catch the odd glimpse of fur against the grassy fronds. Her eyes fixed upon the small line of antilope and she waited for them to startle. They would feast well tonight, she knew that above anything else. Her mind focused on nothing else but the task at hand as she waited for the herd to startle.

Her eyes observed more to where she was. Was that the signal? Very new to her indeed, she doesn't recall this. That tail she caught sight of. It did go against that thrush that harbored the antilope. Perhaps this would be easy after all. Kisirani's hind legs brought her lower and soon rose as the front descended. Getting her paws ready, she soon spurt a burst of speed at the group. Spearheading her way to those in question she took a chance on, the cheetah, made a quick leap at one to try and startle it her company's direction, claws out and ready to grapple any flesh it could hold.
