Volly's hoping to get an interview for a... Leetle Text v
Pageant.
Mhm.
Anybody have sites, advice, or anything else that might help me?
I know it doesn't seem quite me. Don't yell or down me or anything, mmkay? I'm hoping for support. Quite a few people just don't see it in me...but my rl friends are being supportive about it. ;D

Oh, wow, that's so cool, Volly. What kind of pagent? Like a beauty pagent? If so, umm... let's see. I know you have to focus on remaining calm all the day - even positive emotions can be considered a bad thing. You do have to wear make-up. Things like physical appearence and attitude are uber important. And whatever talent you use, needs to be as impressive as possible. Something that is different or that you're REALLY good at. Erm... Don't get too close to fellow pagent-teers unless you handle them winning/you loosing or you winning/them loosing. Sometimes it's easier to distance yourself.

I dunno. It's more a poise-talent-personality one. But you do have to wear a gown and look purtyful. But you don't have tobe a prima-donna so it's not really a 'beauty' pageant. Iffin' you know what I mean. ;D
I'm thinking of something along the acting/oral interpretation area or singing. Can't quite decide.

Oooh, I see. Sounds like fun. ^^ I will say that it's more likely girls will be singing, so in terms of standing out, I would probably go for the acting/oral interpretation area. Singing just sounds like a more common talent. I don't really have much to offer you. :/ Possibly if you googled 'poise-talent-personality' pagents, you might get some sites that could help you prepare far better than I ever could.
P.S. - anyone who says you can't do it needs to be taken outside and beaten.
