Oh great. Ohhhhh great. This was just PERFECT. Sure, they'd joked about it (read: she'd teased him mercilesly until it he grew a thicker hide about it) but this was just... "ARRGHHH!" The girl roared out her frustration in the middle of the jungle as she stomped her peeved way up to Niruzu's den.

The laughter of her elephant "Friends" was still ringing in her ears. At least, she thought, she hadn't run into her father lately. That was a blessing, as it meant she wouldn't have to do this on her own... assuming Niruzu didn't try to run. Then she'd sick her father on him. That thought in mind, she barged into Niruzu's den and glowered at him.

He had been curled up rather comfortably against the wall, his head on his paws, enjoying the afternoon. Somewhere between sleep and consciousness, he wasn't really concentrating on anything. Hell, the day so far had been perfect . She'd not been around to bother him with her mood swings, and he was beginning to think she ;might have - damn.

His eyes snapped open upon that thought as he heard her storm in, his eyes meeting hers and immediately a frown creased. "What the hell is wrong now?"

"Oh just GUESS!" She snapped, accent leaving in a moment of fury. The girl flopped down, then glared at her own stomach.

He shrugged, turning to lay his head back down. Hell, if she wasn't going to tell him he was going to bloody worry about it. He was tired of putting up with her rather annoying mood swings and her issue of never knowing what was wrong with herself. "You ate some bad turtle?"

"... ye cud chall eet tha', bu' ye moight bay insultin' yerself," She replied sourly. "Oi'm knicked oop."

He blinked, picking his head up and staring up at her with those pale eyes. He tried to figure out what the hell she had just said, but something in his head wasn't quite computing it - probably because he didnt want to. "You're what?"

"Ye 'eard me." Shetani hissed faintly. "Knicked oop. bugga'd. wit yoh childe."

He growled slightly at her and lay his head back down, teeth gritted irritably. "I thought I told you I didn't want to hear you joke about that stuff." He lashed his tail, eyes shutting hard.

"oi ain't jokin."

He sighed, picking his head up, and stared at her long and hard. "What do you mean you aren't joking?" He narrowed his eyes on her, tail still lashing, trying to find some hint of amusement. Then, like a lightening bolt it hit him. She wasn't joking. His body froze up, eyes wide, and his first thought wasnt truly that he was going to be a father - it was that her father was going to kill him. "s**t, s**t, s**t," he began, pushing himself to his feet and starting to walk in little circles.

"Finlly!" She snaped, "Welcum t'da fookin club ya wanker!" The girl's tail lashed out at him as he passed her and happened to blunder too heavily against her stomach. "An whatch whur ye're stephin!"

He stopped and stared down at her, silent for a few long moments, though much more cautious about her and her 'fragile' state. "You haven't told your dad yet, have you?"

She lifted her head and sneered, "Y'tink Oi'm stoopid? He sayd quoit pointly dat 'e'd kill ye iffin ye dinnit 'keep't t'yer self!"

His eyes widened slowly, picking up a paw to point it at her, as if he'd start yelling at her about something but then wisely put it back down. Hell, he knew that, but that wasn't EXACTLY what she had said to him the first time. He supposed her lying wasn't the worst of his problems at the moment though. "What the hell am I going to do then? He's going to find out, then your going to have fatherless babies."

"da 'ell oi will!" She sat up straight and glared at him. "Ye leve m'da t'me, y'here? Oi ain't raizin no' cubs bai m'self!"

He sighed, glancing out towards the entrance to his cave, as if he expected her dad to come roaring in here any moment. Hell, he didn't even know what the brute looked like - what if he ran into him and didn't know it was him? "Fine," he said with a small growl, teeth gritting and claws digging into the cave floor. "I'm not going anywhere, it's my damn mistake," he said slowly, softly. Not like he KNEW how to leave anyway.

She snorted. "Moight as well ge' used ta me, iffin ye 'aven't already."

He snorted, turning to head back towards where he had been laying before. His brain was too muddled to think through all of this right now. "I got used to you a long time ago, girl."

She nodded faintly and sighed, laying down and looking completely miserable. Curse her pride and sense of humor both. She wanted toys not.... responsibility. The girl rolled her eyes ans shifted closer to him. At least he might hold her.

He tilted her head as she scooted closer, sighing softly and moving to drape one of his forelegs over her back. He could do that for her at least - this was probably all his damn fault anyway. "We can do it."
