Shetani looked out over the large lagoon she'd lead her... "boyfriend" to a few days before. Oh she'd not call him that when her father was present, or evne to his face, but the girl had finally come to the conclusion of what exactly he was. Basically, a glorified toy that happened to have dangly bits.

She was content enough with that answer, but for once wasn't plaguing his every step. Instead, she'd spent the day having 'girl talk' with the female elephants down below. It had been quite fun and they'd giggled at Niruzu's expense for quite some time... but now the sun was close to setting and she hadn't seen him all day. Yet, the girl didn't quite feel like getting up.

There was something Niruzu always seemed to notice. No matter where he went, either she stumbled upon him, follow him on purpose, or he was unfortunate enough to drop in on her. Of course, that probably had a lot to do with the fact that he really only stayed in the one area, went to the same places over and over.

Like today.

He broke free of the foliage, coming out onto the cliff she had shown him the other day that overlooked the lagoon below. He had thought to come and have a look at the elephants, see them at a distance. They truly were fascinating, if somewhat intimidating. However, as he broke free, his eyes fell upon her dark form. He hesitated, about to turn away, but knew she'd hear him and follow anyway. With a sigh, he made himself walk forward.

"What are you doing just hanging around here?" he asked calmly, stepping up beside her to look out over the lagoon.

Shetani glanced over her shoulder at him then yawned. Well.. at least she wouldn't have to go track him down now. Actually, that was rather nice she thought and she welcomed him with a bit more of a smile. At his words, however, her expression turned to a smirk. "Whal arn't whee hoigh an' moighty. Oo're ye t'say whur oi can bay or no' bay?"

He gave her a noticeable frown, turning in her direction as he heard her words. Here he was just trying to be conversational and she had to go and be a pain in the a**. "I wasn't saying where you could and couldn't be, girl, I was just asking for the sake of asking." He huffed, shaking his head and letting his mane fall around his shoulders.

"Whal ye fail't asxkin ye do," She shrugged and gazed back out over the lagoon. For a few minutes there was silence. "ye left yer cave agin.. on po-pus."

He snorted, but that was his only real response to her first words. She was truly just a pain in the a**, right? Why the hell did he keep her around? Well, that was probably a couple of things. First, she was good for something and second, also probably most important, he couldn't have gotten her to go away if he had wanted to.

"Yeah, I did, I figured I needed some fresh air," he said with a shrug, flicking his tail behind him, "and I wanted to see the elephants. They're kind of interesting." Oh, but he was trying to be nice.

"Y're fixated wit 'dem, ye is!" She laughed and reached out a paw to slap his foreleg. The girl chuckled and shook her head, "Oi'd tink, iffin oi didn't kin be'er, tha' ye were 'tracted t'somfin so huge. Oi cud ge''a complex, oi cud."

He snorted at her yet again, lifting the leg she slapped and waving it at her. "Don't be going and getting a bleeding complex, hell, I'd not be able to deal with you at all if you did that." He huffed, rather amused with himself, and peeked over at the lagoon, "no, I just think that they're interesting. I've never seen something so big before."

"Ye'd loike as no'," She agreed with a laugh, "ye'd 'ave t'bay 'untin' fer my iffin Oi went an go' as big as oll dat." The whole thing was actually rather amusing, not that she would have admitted it, and she smiled up at him. "Den ye shud go say hoigh, ye shud. Dey dun't boight... thu.. dey mayhap steppin ye."

He laughed softly at her, rolling his eyes to stare at her out of them, tail batting behind him. "Mm, I don't think I'd want you quite that big," he smirked, but looked away. Hell, he had to joke at some point. With a frown, his ears flattened slightly, and he took another peek down there, "hell, but that's what I'm bloody afraid of. I don't want to be stepped on, damn it."

"Den ye'd best bay quick, nao, shudn't ye?" She snickered and batted at him with her tail.

He groaned and glanced down there, ears still flattened, using his tail to bat weakly back at her own. "But.." he groaned slightly, glancing sideways at her. Hell, he didn't want to go alone, but he sure as hell didn't want to have to ask her to come with him.

"Tch.. y'big baybe.. Ain't no worried down dere. Dey're 'armless.. .less ye're chikhen."

He growled slightly at her words, huffing at her, and turned to settle his pale eyes on her with a pretty obvious glare. "Damn it girl, I'm not a big baby." That wasn't the first time she'd called him a baby, and even though he was scared, that didn't make him one. Damn her!

Shetani got up. She stretched herself beside him and then turned to rube her head under his chin. "Ye're moi baybe," She whispered in as sultry a tone as she could manage, almost spoiled it by snickering, then sauntered off into the forest to pick her way down to the lagoon's shore.

His eyes widened quite considerably, his ears pinning back a bit, and he almost faltered in his steps. Then, of course, as she walked off, he let out a low growl. Damn that girl! She had to go and do s**t like that and.. get his head in a whirl. With a sigh, he turned to head after her, tail lashing behind him miserably.

Shetani grinned like a mad woman all the way down to the ground. Once there, she stopped to stretch and turn, looking back up at him as she waited for him to join her. When she did she gestured to the elephants. "Go'on. Ge'im toigur!"

He stepped up to her side, giving her a bit of a sneer, and turned to look up at the elephants. Up close, they were a bit more frightening. He groaned and shook his head, taking a hesitant step backwards, "no, there's too many." He shook his head, shifting from one front foot to the other.

The girl rolled her eyes as well and got behind him. She began to try and push him out into the water. Across the way, several of the herd began to notice and cast amused looks their way.

He grunted as she began to push him, for a moment almost considering digging his claws in and refusing to go. Then, with a groan, he simply let her push him before he began to walk of his own accord. "Damn it girl, just stop, would you?" he huffed and took a step into the water. Strutting out a few steps, he paused, looking back at her, "going to come with me?"

"Nope!" she replied consicely for once. Walking back to the shore, Shetani turned to face him as soon as she got there and sat herself right back down on the shore. "'ave fun!"

He huffed at her and turned away, staring distantly at the elephants where they huddled. He gave her a last look over his shoulder, a muttered "big help you are", and turned to start swimming out to where the big creatures loomed.
