Plans are well under way for an epic road drip through part of the US. I'll be driving solo over 6000 kms to see three Iron Maiden shows in the southern and western states. First it's a 23 hour drive south to Phoenix for the first show. Then a day hangin' out in the city before a 7 hour drive west to LA for the second show. After a couple days handing out in LA, I head north 17 hours to Seattle for show #3. After that, it's another 8 hours home ^_^
I'm super excited for the trip, even tho it's gunna be wicked expensive. Well worth it to me!
I've found all the hotels that I'll be staying at along the way, I joined AMA (Our version of AAA) for any problems along the way. I bought The Club so my car won't get jacked (no one would go thru the trouble of cutting/taking off the steering wheel on the car I'm taking =P) I'll be picking up a GPS unit for the trip as well =P I hear LA and Seattle are pretty big places.
I already have my front row centre ticket for California. Seattle goes on sale on Wednesday and Phoenix goes on sale on the 15th. I'm in the fan club so I get presale tickets and the best seats! WooT!
Sooooo excited, sucks that I'm going alone, but I'll be ok ^_^

Aww that's awesome!
LA is MASSIVE! And I am not exaggerating. I have only been there once, but it took like...2 hours to drive straight through to Anaheim.
You are so friggin' lucky!!!!

Yeah, it's crazy big! I'm lucky, the show and hotel is pretty much on the south east edge of LA, then I jump on the #5 all the way thru LA and I'm on me way xD

Pshhh... I feel so loved!
Trip update! I now have tickets for an additional three shows here in Canada. Bringing the total up to six ^_^
I'm also planning a couple day stop in Las Vegas, complete with a tour of the Grand Canyon and the Hoover dam biggrin
Damn, I'm gettin' so freakin excited for this trip!
