(Ayako has taken the kits to Remus's library to study, and practise magic, probably ;D More of a "seeing if any family" is there. Meaning Remus, aunts, uncles, cousins may also join in <3) Curling up on a cushion, Ayako settled down with a book on transfiguration, a small smile blossoming over her face as she read. It seemed to be a long time since she could read like this, and have such a peace of mind. She peeked up from the book for a moment to observe her kits, smiling fondly at them.
The black coated kit scampered among the bookshelves, peeking up to stare at the titles of books as she walked past them. Putting her paws up on the higher bookshelf, Axis peered at the books, brown tails wagging. It all seemed so interesting to her, though she wondered why her wand didn't seem to work. Or why her mother always looked at her somewhat oddly. Oh well. She shrugged, a black tipped paw reaching forward, trying to pad at one of the books.

The little kit was ploped down next to mommy, a flashlight (which had become very much like his security blanket) seated in his lap. He had the object turned on, shining up on the ceiling. Xerviree's eyes looked up at the ceiling, wiggling his tails as he moved the flashlight some causing the circle of light on the ceiling to move. This move of the circle of light caused him to notice one of his sisters. She was looking at all the books. There certainly were a whole lot of books.
He got to his feet, picking up the end of his flashlight in his tiny maw, dragging it over to the bookshelves and his black coated sister. "What are you doing Axis~?" he called to her, placing his flashlight back down. Was she going to get a book to read? Or maybe get one and look at all the pretty pictures. He wagged his tails, giving his ears a flick. He liked the pictures in some of the story books.
Lifting up the front of his flashlight, he pointed it at the book Axis was pawing at.

Nyx trotted back to her mom's sitting position on the couch, with her precious wand neatly tucked behind her ear. It was made of Rosewood and had a core of pheonix feather, how dearly she loved her wand!
"Mommy..I was really wondering, what subject of books do you think i need to ace?" She said looking a bit embarrassed at her 'silly' question. She shifted about on the spot with her red bottomed paws and eyed a book on dark arts on the nearby table.

Letting out a silent yawn, the little kit glanced around the room, her tails wagging a little. The little mute bounced towards her mother, rising slowly on her wobbly hindlegs and flopping over the top of Ayako's book. Tails waving more noticeably now, she looked at the book, puzzled, before turning this puzzled look to her mother, as if asking what she was reading.
Seeing one of her sisters approach them, Xara slipped off from the book, landing with a light thump. Ears pricked forward, she pawed at her black and red pelted sister, canting her head to the side. Why wasn't her sister playing with Axis or Xerviree, she wondered? The kit opened her mouth to ask, but nothing came out. It was tough, not being able to talk unless it was under special circumstances.

Ears twitching, Xexilia watched her siblings from her perch on top of one of the bookshelves. With a soft bark she hopped down off her perch and down next to Xara. Grinning at her sister Lia allowed one of her tails to drape over her sister's back. "She wants to know what you're reading, mother."
She nuzzled softly at her Xara's side. Her sister couldn't talk but as long as she was around she was able to translate most of what her sister meant. It was a just a link that they had been born with.
Lia glanced curiously at Xara, then Nyx, then back to Xara. Tilting her head at Xara for a moment she turned her attention to Nyx. "Why aren't you playing Nyx?"

The little black coated kit winced as her brother moved the flashlight and the light touched her fur. So bright! Squinting her eyes, she turned to look at Xerviree. "Turn it off, Viree. S'bright!"
Flicking her light tipped ear backwards, she finally got a hold on the book and dragged it out, letting it drop on the floor. "Charms for Beginners." She read, peering down at the font on the book, tails wagging slightly. "I wanna read. Then I can be as great as mommy." The kit didn't understand why her wand didn't seem to produce anything, but if she studied hard, it would work, right?
Ayako nuzzled Xerviree as he left her side, watching her son drag his flashlight over to his sister. Shifting her attention to Nyx, she blinked. "Ah dear. It depends on what subject you like. There's Defence Against Dark Arts, Charms, Transfiguration, Potions and such. You could look at the books over there where Axis and Xer is?"
There was an almost sad smile on her face; as she watched Xara, her little mute girl, bound over to her. It had been upsetting enough to know that Swax was mute during the full moon, but now Xara seemed to have it most of the time. The full moon. It constantly nagged at her, though Xanul had remained adamant that none of them would get his berserker powers he had inherited from Saix. She hoped not.
"Yes, Xilia." Ayako smiled, ruffling the kit's bangs with a paw. She did, of course, sense what her youngest daughter wanted, she was after all her mother. And an empath to boot. "It's about Transfiguration." She told those by her side, swishing her white ringed tails. Not exactly her strong point; Vyn was the one skilled in that, but she at least, wanted to learn more. That she hadn't read about already.

Xerviree wiggled with a smile as his mother nuzzled him before he walked off with his flashlight.
The little male blinked, turning his head down so that he was looking at the front of his flashlight. Eyes squinted, as he moved his head back returning his gaze to his sister. She was right, it was rather bright, but he liked bright. Even if the library was lit he still liked keeping his flashlight on. It made him feel extra safe, though he knew he was already safe with all the lights and mommy right there.
Moving the flashlight he turned it so that it pointed back up at the ceiling. "But the glowby is good, Axis~" he uttered, walking over to her, making sure he didn't stray too far from his trusty flashlight.
Xerviree canted his head to the side, giving his ears a twitch. "Can I read toooo Axis?" he questioned, lifting a tiny gloved paw to push back his blond hair. They could read it together. And maybe she could help him pronounce the words properly. He did seem to be having some troubles pronouncing things.

Nyx smiled towards her mother, how ever so clever she was! She moved forward, nuzzled her mother and jumped lightly off from the cushion she was standing on. Landing lightly on the floor, making hardly no noise.
Nyx had an especially soft spot for Xara, the mostly white pelted sister. Sometimes, one could also catch Nyx looking at Xara enviously, why? Because nyx adored her markings and her almost always peaceful expression. Nyx grinned widely and 'tried' to nuzzle both her sisters, Nyx was the vivacious type but when it came to books. Now that was a different story...
" Well... I do want to play but... I think its wrong to play around with books? Or maybe in a place with books? Books are such a preshhh- uh.. Presh-whats-it-again? " She said putting a red bottomed paw on her wand tip. She positively couldn't remember long words, but oddly their meanings she could.
She shook her hair and swished her cream colored tails. She still couldn't remember the word! Aggravated, she dramatically collasped onto the floor with an ' oo~f! ' escaping her lips. Her wand fell out of place and tumbled beside her sparkling for a moment or two. She smiled and placed a paw of her forehead.

The chocolate furred senior Lupin had been moving around in something of a pleasant daze since the news of his two daughters being once again pregnant with kits. He had the pleasure of seeing Ayako's eggs .... Remus Lupin sighed. To have ever thought he could be a father even had once seemed a pointless pipedream. But to have this. To be a father to ten, ten wonderful kits! And now... now a grandfather of 11! Soon to be 16 when his youngest daughter's eggs hatched -and who knew how many Vynnessia had!
It was enough to boggle any one's mind, much less the werewolf who never expected to be loved.
He loved them all, no matter how often or how little he saw them. Seeing to their learning of their wizardry powers if they would learn from him. Always willing to come to any one of them if they but say the word or even hint at needing him. Remus Lupin was a family kitsu. It was hard to imagine being happier.
Smiling, the wizard opened the magical door onto the library. Most had finally conceded to cease calling it 'his'... though many associated it to his family now. That was the sight that met his dark eyes as Remus entered, black robes swishing at his paws. Striped ears and tails marked with faded scars lifted with stunned delight as he dazedly smiled and continued into the room -automatically shutting the door behind him. "Ayako... grandkits?" Joy, delight, welcome, invitation, longing to hold and teach & love each and every one of them filling his voice & his eyes. Bubbling over silently as he continued to pad nearer, looking from one to the other around at them all with grandfatherly (and fatherly in Ayako's case) unconditional love and devotion.
((I'm going to be busy... then gone to MegaCon for the weekend. But Remus HAD to meet his grandkits asap! Sooooo... *leaves Remus in your hands* Just don't have him do anything out of character, okay? Otherwise, free to play with until I get back. I may or may not be able to make another post after this one. If I am, I'll just slip it in. *hugs all*))

Grinning, the little kit nuzzled Xexilia and Nyx affectionately. How she loved her family. Turning to look at her mother as she spoke, Xara could own frown quizzically at the word 'Transfiguration'. What was that? Cocking her head to the side, she lightly pawed at Xexilia's shoulder, asking her to translate for her.
Her furry ears pricked up suddenly at the sound of the door opening. Turning, Xara stared at the newcomer with curiousity. A friend of mother's, perhaps? She leaned back, a little wary, until she noticed the look in his eyes as he glanced at each of them in turn - it filled her with a rather warm feeling.
Padding forward, she seated herself right in front of the wizard, before giving a little, dip of her head. She had seen people greet each other like this before - with a bow - but never understood why. She never had the chance to try greeting someone like that either, until now.

The little blue kit grinned at Xara and nuzzled her back. Xexilia frowned at the word as well it wasn't one she recognized. She'd recognized Charms and Potions though so she figured it most be some sort of subject or area to study. Her head tilted curiously as she examined the book her mother was reading. "Mama, what's transfiguration?"
Xexilia's head turned, following her sister's gaze to the newcomer. Noticing her sister's nervous movement she stepped up beside her, looking the newcomer over carefully. He seemed to have a nice air about him though and she nuzzled her sister reassuringly.
Watching her sister's strange actions she frowned slightly. Waving her tails a mischievously she pounced on her sister, balancing her paws on the back of her sisters neck and peering at the newcomer for a moment before turning her attention back to her sister's strange action. "What ARE you doing Xara?"

A scuffling noise could be heard from outside the house, at the end where the library was located. There was a bump and some shuffling and scraping before one of the windows in a far corner of the study came unlatched and squeaked open.
A blonde head cautiously poked its way through the open window, turquoise eyes glancing around. Xelon twitched his nose and waggled his ears, pausing for a moment to stare the vastness that was the library. I'm in heaven... he thought dreamily. Books, books, and more books. He could hardly wait to get his paws on them. With a silly smile plastered on his face, the Kitsu quickly squeezed the rest of himself through and landed with a soft thump on the floor. Dusting himself off, Xelon quietly shut the window and slowly made his way towards the shelves, eyes darting back and forth as if afraid of being caught.
He'd gotten the message that his mother and siblings had gone to visit his grandfather. Or, at least, that's where he hoped they'd gone. Upon showing up at Saix's house and getting nothing but a grunt of "Remus" from his father when he'd asked where they'd went, Xelon had naturally set off to his grandparent's house.
When he arrived, the first thing he saw through the windows was the library. A little peek wouldn't hurt... he'd thought. He'd decided to make a quick tour of the room before going to find his mother and siblings.
And now here he was, surrounded by shelves and shelves of the most wonderful books. Xelon made a happy sound as he reached out to take one down. His gloved paw stopped in mid-reach as he heard noises coming from the other side of the library. Voices. The book momentarily forgotten, the Kitsu quietly padded towards the source of the sound, poking his head over the side of the shelf to see what the commotion was.

"But s'too bright Viree! S'not like it's dark here!" The red haired kit sat on her haunches and used a black tipped paw to flip the book to it's first page, pouting a little. She didn't exactly understand her brother's fear of darkness, but still! The lights were all lit up, and he didn't need to switch his flashlight on, did he? "Just don't point it at me then."
"Okayy." The kit shifted slightly to the side so that her brother could join her. She could pronounce words quite well, though even though she tried to imitate the exact spells her mother had said, it never worked.
An amused smile grew on Ayako's face as she watched the black kit think. "Prestigious?" She suggested. No, that couldn't be it, could it? The word didn't seem to pop up in her brain for now, and she patted Nyx with a smile. "Transfiguration is the art of changing of the form and appearance of an object and the vanishing of objects." She told the two blue kits.
"Father?" She looked up, a beautiful smile of delight lighting up her features. Standing up, she nudged Nyx towards Remus and jerked her head towards her wizard father, eyes on the two kits poring over a book.
Axis's ears lay back as she watched the stranger enter, watching him curiously with a quirk of the eyebrow. Then, when momma called him her father, it clicked. "Grand dada?" She asked, peeking at him shyly as she padded up to where Xara and Xexilia was.
A white ringed ear quirked as Ayako sensed the presence of another, of someone familiar to her. Turning and casting her turquoise gaze around the library curiously, she spotted Xelon, and her smile grew wider. "Xelon! Come and meet your new siblings."
Axis's mouth formed a slight o as she watched her mother called out to the kitsusagi that seemed to be her...big brother. "He looks like Viree." She commented softly, both eyebrows raised.

Xerviree frowned, yes the light was bright, but it was safe. He didn't understand as to why his sister didn't see that. "It doesn't mabter that it's not dark." he said with a nod, sitting down next to Axis. Lights were good, you could never have too many.
His eyes glanced down at the book, looking at the words. Oh yes, it was a good thing he would be reading with Axis, some of those words looks hard. "Oh!" he spoke, jumping up and running back to his flashlight. Almost as quick as he had run over to it, he pulled it up next to Axis and the book. Turning the flashlight down he pointed it at the page in the book. Reading under a light was better for your eyes right?
The little male tilted his head back as his mother called out the word 'father'. Paying no attention as to how far back he was tilting himself he toppled onto his back, a curious look upon his face. "Granbpoop?" he blinked. Axis had called him their grandfather, and if he was their mother's father then that made sense, he thought.
He remained where he was by the book as Axis padded off. His attention was then brought to another, another male, who was his brother? "Brother?" he questioned, still laying on his back.

Nyx wriggled on the floor playfully giggling when Xara nuzzled her. What delightful rewards for being a drama queen!
Nyx found herself nudged and prodded towards the big woody doors, her siblings and mother were all excited over it. What was happening? She opened her eyes and flicked a double red lined ear forward. Happy sounds were about!
Like a curious cat, she got herself up and about. Firstly though, she picked up her precious wand and tucked it neatly behind her ear. Stalking like a ninja and weeving through the bookshelves to the door.
There, stood grandpa. A big smile broke through the semi-seriousness of her face. She had just met her grandfather but was already liking him! His voice and eyes were SO warming, Nyx found no reason not to like him! Delighted, she swished her cream colored tails about.
Nyx nudged Xara gently, "What ARE you doing sis?" She asked curiously, Xara's odd actions had interested her as much as Lia was.
She looked to the bookshelf, one other kitsu was there. She heard mother call him their brother and quirked an eyebrow in his direction. He looked a little like her!
