Riiru yawned and puckered her lips, the sky was slowly beginning to have bright streaks of yellow and orange on them. Riiru had never been up so early! Amazed at the changing colors, she sat up and watched, positively engrossed.
She swayed her stubby tail elegantly, she had learnt that from her last friend; Raphe. He was handsome and full of self confidence. She was indeed proud to be his friend.
Riiru then stood up and shook her little frame from head to toe. She bent down like a tiger would, and pounced! She flew through the air and higher and higher! Until she came splashing down into the stream below. Riiru giggled to herself girlishly, doing silly things by yourself was fun sometimes.
Riiru was, on a friend making journey. And today... Riiru was about to meet someone special.

Well, Reikon was a rather special soquili. If you counted a silent, brooding, and rather emo stallion to be special.
Reikon had always been fascinated by the colors of the sky, ever since he was young. For some reason. Because of this, he usually woke up early to gaze at the twilight before sunrise, also known as dawn.
That was his favourite part of the day.
Perhaps many people would say they loved the sunset, but Reikon preferred watching sunlight slowing break into the dark colors of the sky, lighting it up with soft rays. However, the sky was starting to turn to brighter colors, and the stallion snorted softly, turning to trot away, back to that little human he now lived with.
A little giggle broke into his thoughts and he turned to see who he was, and raised an eyebrow at the little foal splashing about.

Riiru turned and stopped, her feelings nagging at her. She turned slightly pink in the face, there was a grown stallion looking towards her way.
She stopped splashing about and shifted on the stop for a while, " Uhm.. Hello there! " She tried saying smiling to the stranger. The stallion has wings of devils, Riiru was very uncertain. The stallion didn't seem to have that hostility around him that said kalona nor did he had the air that said he was happy in any way at all...

Bright blue eyes observed the foal silently, noticing that she had interesting silver, almost metal like markings. And the tail. It was unlike any he had seen before, and he wondered why she was different. Perhaps it had to do with genes, and her parents.
He shifted slightly as she greeted him, and replied softly, but audible enough for her to hear. "Hello little one. Out here alone?" His tone sounded indifferent, and his face showed no emotion, but his eyes held curiosity, that about her.

Riiru glanced towards the water, her hooves were getting cold. Her blood red eyes looked closely at the stallion, noticing hisw face showed no emotion, just curiosity; alight in his eyes.
At that time, Riiru was pretty sure she could outrun a stallion; if there was ever the need.
" Ah; yes! out alone," She said looking at his chest marking, she couldn't identify it. Riiru's eyes snapped up, " You too? " She said; bowing to the stallion. ' Respect to elders, kalona alike. It saved me once, so dont deny..." was her fathers words. Riiru kept to them at all times.
She springed out of the water and settled down on the cool grass along the bank. The Sky was now fully alight, birds starting to sing their merry songs.

Reikon wasn't exactly the most outgoing of soquili, or an expressive one. His face was usually set into the emotionless mask of his, and his eyes were the ones that expressed his feelings. Well, for most of the time, if he wanted to.
"Yes." He said simply, watching her bow to him, a little surprised. Respecting him? Huh. It would take some getting used to, if everyone did the same. If he did meet them. Reikon preferred to spend his time alone.
"It's a beautiful morning." He remarked, raising his head to stare at the sky once again.

Riiru had not experienced anything with a quiet soquili before and was rather dumb at handling situations like this. She thought of Raphe; What would he do?
She smiled to the stallion, " Indeed it is, So sir... May i know your name?" She said, smiling brightly.

Reikon himself was feeling a little awkward; he didn't exactly speak much with other soquili. The moment he saw one, he would usually trot off, or slip into the shadows. He almost wanted to leave, but curiosity held him back.
"My name is Reikon Taberu." He said, introducing himself by his full name. "Yours?"

Riiru's feelings went over the moon, she had suceeded in talking to him! well... At least a little bit. She tried to keep this up. "WOW! Unique name!" She said with a little O settling on her mouth. She was envious within 2 seconds, her name was not as nice next to his!
She trotted over to the young tree behind the stallion. On her way though, she noticed that the stallion was rather stiff, was he not happy about her attitude? She could be in trouble....

There was a slight uncomfortable silence before Reikon gave the foal a small smile. "...Thank you." The name was all he had left of his life when he was young...when his parents...and then he had lost contact with her. He breathed a small sigh, then tilted his head down to look at the little girl. "And your name is?"
The problem with him was that he didn't really know what to say, and he was a little well, hesitant that he might have scared the little foal off with his aloofness.

Riiru settled down below the tree, it was beginning to get hot. She giggled, reikon's face was rather blur if you looked close enough.
" My name, is Riiru. Born from lavenders and courage. " She said proudly. She loved her parents so much and they loved her too. thats why they finally let her go out and explore on her own. It was an honor!
" Why do you seem so... quiet? Aren't you happy? "

Riiru. It was an interesting name. Even more intriguing when she mentioned that she was born from lavenders and courage. Ahh, she must mean her parents. He remembered being a foal, and those carefree days...
"Happy?" He snorted, settling down to pin her with a steel blue gaze. "I can see why you would be. However, there isn't much reason for me to be." Being a foal meant that the world was so new, and being curious about everything around, and asking meaningless questions such as 'Why is the sky blue?' but they were all from innocence. He had lost that innocence long ago.

Riiru stopped to stare, she was oddly not afraid of those ice cold eyes that penetrated private thoughts. She liked them instead, the power to frighten or hold onto. She was indeed quite impressed by this stallion. A small sly smile overcame her features.
" But there must be something that you hold dear and make you happy. Maybe something like the sun rising." She said looking at him with the didn't-you-just-say-so? Look. Riiru was indeed innocent! She had only learned little from Raphe and now she was all set and ready to learn how to behave from this stallion. Learning to Riiru ; was the path of loosing her innocence.

He was impressed. Reikon had thought that most foals would have been scared away by him...he was quite aloof after all.
...Then again, there was their innocence. "Maybe." He tilted his head slightly. True, the thought of her made him glad, but he didn't exactly smile and caper around like an idiot as he did so. Most of his thoughts were kept to himself. "Scenery is to be admired." He couldn't say it made him happy, it just intrigued him.

Riiru stared at him hard, this conversation was hard to continue onwards, how much she wanted to snort and stomp off like she used to but she didn't want to lose anymore! In the very least Riiru wanted to try and win. Thus this incident became Riiru's determination.
Riiru snorted at him softly, not knowing him that well at all he could have been offended and start charging at her swears spilling out from his mouth. She braced herself. Muscles tensed, ready to spring and run faster than the wind. " So there IS something that you like, what is it? Or perhaps WHO is it?" She said leaning closer to him eyes wide and piearcing with curiosity.
