I, as a fairly seasoned member to this society, have recently picked up and played a game called Rogue Galaxy. Now, I've been playing RPG's for a very long time, be it the early Final Fantasies, all the way up to things like LoZ: Twilight Princess and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and in the entirey of my gaming career, I have never seen a game that even compares to the one featured in Rogue Galaxy (Except perhaps Final Fantasy VI, though I can't comment on games I haven't yet beaten). It features a great battle system, that, while not my favorite style of turn-based, still has good cinematics and a mixture of melee and ranged combat, which is more than can be said for a few RPG's of this time. There are only a couple of minigames that, while lacking in quantity, are VERY fulfilling in their length and quality. The Insectors especially are a way to keep your mind off of the occasional 'leveling up for hours to beat the next, currently impossible boss' ruts. And while doing these minigames and sidequests, you oftentimes fulfill more of the story on the way. The game is a perfect blend of great storytelling, a rare, proper usage of the voice-acting capabilities of today, character depth, battling simplicity with some healthy difficulty, and an all around great mood throughout. Now, I'm sure some would disagree with me, and decide to point out it's few minor faults, but I have had no issues with this game, and enjoyed it to the fullest extent of many gaming experiences I have had the pleasure (or displeasure) of experiencing as of late. Whether you see it in the "Most Played section" of a popular gaming store, or the "20% off" box at Walmart, I recommend picking this game up and giving yourself the pleasure of a good time.

Pardon me for any flaws, this is my first real attempt at a professional review.
