Personality:
Lighthearted, curious, and optimistic would describe her outlook on life. Chelsea is an admirer of art, and a complete dreamer. There is nothing she likes more than to lay out on the grass for an afternoon and just observe. She is captivated by the beauty of nature, so she spends most of her time surrounded by it. Although Chelsea is entirely in awe of music, she finds herself very musically impaired. No matter how hard she tries to learn, playing and reading music is a talent that escapes her. However, she does draw and paint well enough to make a meager living from selling her artwork and photographs in the various cities or towns that she travels to.

Chelsea is by nature not a high-strung individual, in fact sometimes she seems quite lazy. She is not anti-social despite spending much of her time alone, quite the contrary: she loves people when she meets them. Humans are a part of nature, and she greatly admires human talent and strength of character. Bravery is a trait that came naturally to her, coupled with stubbornness to do things her way. Chelsea lives in the present. She is not overly concerned with her plans for the future or lack thereof, which is a cause for concern according to her parents.

History:
Chelsea was born and raised in the city of Motterossa, currently where her parents are still living. She has two older sisters, both of whom eventually moved to Katarina, one as a pokemon researcher and the other whom the family suspects has become a Team Rocket grunt. When Chelsea was a child, her grandfather taught her everything there was to know about surviving in the wilderness. He, an avid adventuror and pokemon researcher, took her on several camping trips including a journey to the city of Katarina before he died. Chelsea had always known that she would eventually become a pokemon watcher, but only recently has she finally put her own skills to the test. Moving away from home was a big step to take, but she does not regret it. Wandering through the Seatence Valley, Chelsea has been able to truly connect with nature and the wild land of her ancestors.
