To be honest, my parents have little care about it at all. At this point, I'm an adult and they recognize the fact that I can spend the money I earn the way that I want to. They do comment on it, now and again, but generally in a vague manner.
My dad could care less. My mother thinks it's a little strange and leaning towards fetishism, but neither has made any measure one way or another to encourage or discourage my love of the style.
Is there a particular reason your mother dislikes it? How does it make you feel when she expresses her dislike?

My mother's really supportive about it, she thinks its cool. Sometimes she tells me she doesn't get it, but I've never heard anything super negative from her.
My father's emotionally abusive, so I never listen to what he says about anything anymore. He said something about square dancing skirts though. He's an idiot.
But, even if my mom hated it, I'd still dress like this. After all, since when is fashion for someone else? Fashion is for you and you only. At least, thats the way I see it in my mind.

My mother adores it in her own way, I got my love for lolita clothing from her I guess, because she loves Victorian wear.
My dad thinks it's okay, as long as I'm enjoying myself.

My parents are fine with the fashion, but they dislike the name.
Neither of my parents are willing to accept that "lolita" has a different meaning when referring to the fashion, and they simply insist that I'm wrong and they're right whenever I try to explain it.
My mom also hates how expensive it can be, so that's also the reason I don't have any loli dresses.

Er...my family doesn't like it.
My Dad looks at me and goes "What are you all dressed up for?"
My Mom said "I hate the way you dress! It's embarrassing! You're a freak, in all that alternitive crap!"
And my grandma said "I thought you were out of that gothic phase..."
I dress EGA and gothic lolita, if anyone's wondering.

Still a theoretical lolita so who knows. But I assume.. mom would be glad I'm finally wearing nice things, but a little weirded out by it. Dad would be weirded out and mad that I was spending so much on clothes, but not totally against it.

Ha ha ha the other day i wore my white one piece white dress out. You can say I was all white... I wont use the actual term for the style of lolita it is because i forgot the damn japanese term for that, but anyways my grandma was like you look like a girl (considering im almost turning 20 in september).
I joked around and told her that at least when im 50 ill look like im 20 XD We just laughed XP
Well I think they dont mind because its a bit more modest looking than the ero lolis...

Umm, acctualy my mom bought me my first dress. Her friends daughters, same age as me, 13 at the time, were really into lolita and my mom took me shopping to see if i would like it. I fell in love razz

Mother seems to like some of it, though not all of it. She also thinks it is really expensive and that maybe if I make a lot of money in the future, I can buy more of it.
Father just, well, I'm not really sure what he thinks of it.
