For the advanced role play section, we have much higher standards than any of the other areas. If you can not do this area, do not feel bad. Not many people can. (I probably shouldn't... but I can...)
The expectations for the players in this area are as follows: -Spelling should be as good as you can get.
-Grammar should be as good as you can get.
-Posts should be at least a paragraph long, if not longer, on average. A paragraph being being at least 4 full sentences long.
-Every sentence should be a complete sentence.
-Details are everything. By this point, characters should be very well defined, with a personality, history, flaws and strengths. They should act more real, and should just about confuse people into thinking that they are real.
-There should be no god mods at all (unless by the creator of the thread to propel the story along). Power plays should be almost non-existent.
-Your character should have thought about just about anything.
-You character should sense the environment around them, reacting appropriately with what they know. There should be no 'phycics' among these people, and they should only go by what they see, hear, smell, taste or touch.
-Your character should not be a perfect entity, and should be making mistakes like any other human being. These flaws are what makes the character.
-You should post in these role plays on a regular bases. If unable to, you should contact the creator of the thread to inform them about it. They will gain temporary control of your character, sticking to what you have in your profile to work with.
These are the expectations for any role play to me created in this area: -The world should be very well defined.
-There should be a 3D feel to the area around the characters.
-There should be a plot line with twists and turns. Nothing should be lose and everything should tie nicely together.
-There should be an in depth history to the worlds, with the characters firmly grounded in this history.
-Everything should have a place, even when no one else sees it. Events should also be unfolding around the characters, whether they wish it or not.
-God mods should rarely need to be used to get the story moving.
-Races and creatures should be well defined. Magic should have an explanation to how it works and to its limits. (Everything has a limit.)
-NPCs should be just as well played as the PCs.

These rules are subject to change as warranted. Remember, they are only guidelines, so not every post needs to fit the limits of length. A few short post sometimes is all you can do.
