Trent laid in his usual area of the tree. A branch that was very high and kept him out of sight. The tribes food supply was starting to run low again and Trent knew it was time to call the tribes people out to have them all come together and help any way they could. With a yawn and a stretch, Trent got up and leaped to a near by branch and than to another until he was greeted by the soft soil below.
Once on the forests soft ground he threw his head back and let out a mighty howl so that other tribe members would know that a meeting was in order. If they did not replenish soon, then all their food supply would be gone in a matter of days. That would be a disaster all on its own if that happened.

Ira was trying to track his uncle. He had already been told, especially by his father, that so long as his uncle had no heir, it was most likely that he, Ira, would inherit the throne of the Celestial Pack... which intriuged the angry young wolf. He didn't much care for the actual pack, or anyone in it, but the idea of all that control... now that sounded like something that was more his style.
It also meant that he had to keep up. Get stronger. Get sharper... and help in the hunt now that he was old enough to do so. Perhaps then his absent mother would finally be impressed, when it was oh-so-easy to make his father happy. All he had to do for that was be the best. But her... her stare... her eyes... they only made the young wolf feel bitter and angry inside.

A dark wolf followed Ira from the shadows of the surrounding tree's. His sister, Zuri, who competed heavily with her brother Ira was right on his trail. About to poounce or about to scare him was not on her mind though, she was more curious what he was thinking.
Even though Zuri did not act like it she cared for her brothers well being and often found it hard to get inside of his head. It was pretty much impossible how cold he was but that didnt matter to her.
The young adult emerged from her shady hiding spot to trot by her brothers side. "What do you think this meetings about? You think I'll finally be named second in command?" Her voice trailed off some.
