 It was another one of those typical days on the Isle of Andvari. The sun was shinning brightly from overhead as random fruit fell softly from the the treetops above. A lovely, young fanfer sat underneath a large, leafy tree playing with one of the fallen kiwis. It had a small dent on the side of it, she assumed, from its flight to the ground. Being a harvester in the clan of Hreidmar, she was very fond of fruit, in general. She was especially lacking entertainment today, though, and would rather play with it than bring it back to the main village. She wasn't much of a "harvester" anyways, she thought to herself. Even though Rose was an adult now, she was still a kid at heart as she would always be. There wasn't a day that passed that she would rather work than play. Bummer was, she hadn't found anyone to play with.

"Oh geez!! Why am I always late!?" Celeste ran through the forest. She wasn't as fast as one of her best friends, Moonlight. She just ran until she bumped into a kiwi tree. "Eeek!" Yup...just like her normal clumsy self...Always tripping or crashing into something or someone.

Rose had forgotten that her best friend, Celeste was going to come play today. It was like her to be late, so she didn't fret as she continued to play with the fallen kiwi. All of a sudden she heard a loud SMACK! and whipped around just in time to see Celeste do a face plant right into the tree."Woah! Jeez girl, slow down! I know your excited to see me, but next time try going around the tree! Rose giggled at her. "It's faster that way."

Celeste rubbed her head. "Rose! Oh, I'm sorry....I've been born into a hunter/huntress family, so I've been trained to run fast...But I always slip....." She smiled brightly, like a child who just recieved a present. "So, what are we doing today? I just got lost in the forest again, that's why I'm late..." ^^

Rose's lips cracked a smile. "It's okay, I'm not very good at my role in the family either." She threw the kiwi a few inches into the air. She paused a moment, contemplating, "Hmm.. well I'd say let's go find some boys, but I'm pretty sure there's none to find."

 <---Clicky us? We don't want to die....;^;"Eh, boys...? Ummm, actually, I forgot to tell you another reason why I rushed here...I have children. Young, healthy, and active. They ran off, and I just searched the forest, but they might have run off somewhere else. As for my mate, he's seeking my cousin for medicinal herbs..." She shyly blushed after saying mate and children but smiled again.

Rose tried to hide her disappointment of herself. "Oh! How lovely! I'm so happy for you Celeste! They must be adorable!" She hoped her slightly fake excitement wasn't visible to Celeste. "You'll have to introduce us sometime!" Looking back at the Kiwi, Rose was definetely visibly bummed now. "Guess you should.. maybe go look for the children, then, huh...?"

"Actually, they're quite dependant, and Kimahri, my son, is really protective of my daughter...Sigh, I just feel like there's so less time to do anything now, and...And....Just for once, I feel like I want to decide by the couses I take. " She smiled. "I've always been forced to learn how to be a hunter....But today, I just want to have a bit of fun!" She laughed and headed out of the field. "Come on! There's always time for you somehow, Rose. Let's go have some fun!" She felt a little sad aura around Rose, but obviously tried to cheer her up.

Rose looked up at Celeste and smiled. "Your such a good friend, Celie!"
Shaking her worries away, Rose darted after her friend. "Where are we going?" she hollered ahead.

Celeste hld her out for a thoughtful moment. "...Hm. I'd either go for the firefly forest I used to play in when I was little, or we can hang out the beach!" She laughed heartilly and looked at her best friend. "So where would you suggest?"

"Oh! But they both sound good!" Rose stopped for a moment, pondering which of they two she would more enjoy. "How about the beach today; but we'll definetely have to go to the firefly forest later on." Rose liked to chase things, but she wasn't about to give up the opportunity to spend some time in the sun.

Upon their arrival, Rose immedietly spotted the perfect spot to settle down on for awhile. She threw herself onto the soft, warm sand, and basked in the the bright sunlight. A light mist sprayed from the ocean, sending little droplets of water onto her face.
"This may be better than male fafners" Rose said sarcasticly aloud.

Celeste jumped into the water as well, then splashed Rose. She somehow had the feeling that Rose was a bit angry at her. "Wow, it's bright today, what a nice time for a swim, right Rose!"

As Rose lay on the beach enjoying the sunlight, Celeste splashed a wave of water right on top of her, drenching patches of her fur. "Heyyy!" she whined, "your gonna pay for that, Missy!" Rose got up from her spot in the sand and pounced into the water on top of Celeste. Rolling to the side with laughter, Rose avoided choking on the shallow water.
