'kay so. I think I'm on my way to fame.
My friend and her dad got me a job to be an extra in a movie. I got to skip a whole day of school, hang around cute guys to old for me [I'm almost 15, everybody there was 18 or older], and I got paid 75 bucks. I met this really really nice guy, he was cute. He had a girlfriend and I wasn't looking for a relationship, but I really wished I had gotten his number. BUT! They might be doing more filming during spring break, and he does a lot of that stuff, so I might see him then.
Then on Friday I went to a concert. I went with my friends for one of the opening bands, but they were all good. There were four bands there, but I only remember two. Black Tide [I went for] and All the Remains [Headliner].
Totally fun. I moshed for my first time, and I'm kinda bruised. But I actually didn't freak out in the crowd this time. So I'm uberly proud of myself. I got to talk to the bass player [WOOO go Bass!] of Black Tide again, [I saw them in Austin before] and he was totally awesome.
So I had a really fun time this week, it was totally kick a**. I slept a whole lot yesterday because I was totally tired.
So PPS, how much fun have you guys had recently? Anything to talk about? Or maybe something that was cool that happened?

That's pretty cool. :] It would be a lot of fun to work on a movie set. I hope I can someday.
Um... I made a thread about some fun things that happened on Friday. I don't feel like typing it out again. D':

But it sounded like you had fun, that would be fun to do. I think the best thing about the movie set was that at one point I was standing right next to the director's video thing and I got to watch what they were filming. It was pretty rad.

@Sagey: It was actually pretty fun, despite being told what to do.
@Orikami: It's called Will. You can't find it on IMDB yet unless you look up Vanessa Anne Hudgens. [Bleh.] But its a Disney movie, and for my part we were in a venue watching a band play [The Burning Hotels] and we were the crowd. Actually at one point I was out of frame and I got to watch the director's little screen to see what they were filming. It was pretty rad. I was standing next to Alyson Michalka [Aly from Aly&AJ] and I heard her curse twice. I thought it was funny because she's a Disney Channel star and it was just appalling. But that's pretty much all we did. We were the crowd.

Whoo, movietime! Being an extra is one of the things on my checklist of things to do before I die. It just sounds like an awesome experience to be in the middle of that much energy.
Moshing = the best way to dance. And getting hurt is half the fun. The other half is inflicting hurt. Remember: Pull up your fellow mosher when they get knocked down. Be a respectful BAMF, yo!

Exactly. That's what we were doing in the mosh pit. I've got some pretty bruises. Small, but pretty. And guys were helping everyone up, even me when I fell twice. =D Nice guys for when they shove you around.

If you squint, we both do PLUR. biggrin In a roundabout fashion. I'm up for either, to be honest.
Sometimes you need a good mosh to clear your head. For some reason it makes your thoughts a lot clearer when you have just had the s**t beaten and crushed out of you by large sweaty men.
