My GF broke up with me the other week and at first it sucked a** and i felt so lonely. But now its like meh. I still miss being with her and i still love her, but its good to be single because i just feel like i have just that bit more freedom. That and i'm starting to get chatty with other people to fill up the space she once occupied, so i'm actually socialising and meeting new people. I know some people hate being single but srsly its not so bad (to me)
Your general opinion on marital status?

i don't mind the single life. i see people going out with their bfs and gfs (course there's NO gays here) and they seem happy, but they seem so tied down. don't get me wrong, i love being with with a nice girl and all, but i don't need one to be happy.

WEll, I was lonely throughout high school .this is my last year. I finally stoped looking...and there wat my girlfriend. weve been dating for 6 months now. I enjoy a reletionship, but it is a TON of work. You got through phases...honeymoon phase, fight phase, sex phase, etc...but keep it strong and it should hold together no matter where one of you goes. im concerned about my gf going to uni, because im afraid shell wanna find other people or find someone better than me. if she does, more power to her. i havent been commited to somone the deeply, but no matter what happens ill know that a relationship was the best part of my life. i like shareing my life with someone special smile

well, i'm in a relationship now and i believe i can sum up the positives of relationships vs single:
single: you don't have to worry about your bf/gf getting upset about looking at "dirty" stuff online twisted also, you can check out guys/girls without getting in trouble
relationship: you don't need naughty stuff online to be happy. also, it's easier to talk to your bf/gf when you need help with something, cuz they love you.
it all depends on what you like more. blaugh

My gf and i tend to watch the pronz togetther. she told me i can go have sex with anyone, just as long as i told her about it. she believes in free love (she's satanist), i dont. so i declined her offer because im not comfortable with her going off and ******** sum chick. i realize that if i can do it, she'll have to be allowed to do it too. so i allow her to hit on ppl, just nuthing more. i know a lot of people would kill to have my gf since she is so open with that. maybe if i get more comfortable later in life ill let her unwind, but id rather be commited to sumoe rather than sleep around. does that sound crazy?

I'm single now after going out with my ex for 9 months. It feels nice being single again, but I miss having someone to hold and be with.
I like a relationship because I have someone to love and be with. I have the problem of getting into long relationships though, so the breakup is always harder.
Upsides of bein single is I can flirt with who I want. I finally can hang out with my friends without someone getting jealous about me spending time with friends. I don't have to worry about doing something wrong.

personaly i LOVE being single.... no worries, no asking if its ok if you do something, and be able to look and touch all you want. simply fantastic.
currently tho im in a relationship and i would have to say it probbly the best one i have ever been in. we have open coversation.... i can look/talk all i want with out him getting pissed at me, BUT my favorite is i can also be with a girl with out shareing. wow hes wonderful... im blessed. so yeah i would have to say at this moment i like being in a relationship. <3

Personaly, im okay with being single..
But im comfortable with my relationship right now..
i never wanna lose her..
im very loyal, so, if she wont let me hit on sumone else, thats fine with me.. 3nodding
If i have to choose between being single or in a relationship, id say i'll prefer being in a relationship.. ;p

Hmmm... I don't know. Sometimes, I'll have a really huge urge to be in a relationship. Like I'll find someone I really like and want to spend my life with them, but it's a rare thing.
Other times, I'll try to picture myself in a relationship, then I'll see some hot chick. If I were in a relationship, I couldn't flirt, I couldn't mess around with different people... I'd be tied down to one person. And even open relationships don't work for me. I mean, If I care enough about someone to be in a relationship, I don't want them to screw around with some other person... Honestly, I'm just too hipocritical.

you know, at a young age, i think that people just cope with being either single or in a relationship. however, i'm starting to miss a relationship. sadly, i'm only getting offers from males, and since i have a preferance towards women, it's not really cool.
i guess theres really no answer on which is better, relationship or single, cuz both get annoying, but both are also ok.
