My girlfriend is awesome and sweet and I love her more than anyone and I try really hard to believe that she loves me too but she has this habit of flirting online with random chicks and it makes me feel really... insecure and jealous and she's assured me before that it means nothing and that it shouldn't bother me but it does....
any advice, O Wise Ones?

I agree with her. I myself feel that I'm flirtatious and don't even know I'm doing it. It's just if someone shows a little interest in me, I flirt. It's sorta to show them the awesome person I am that they can't have because I'm taken.
I say don't take it personal. If there was no reason to doubt her love before, this isn't a reason to start doubting. In my opinion.

yeah, it just worries me cuz in real life she's very shy and/or anti-social... so it always take me off guard when i see her flirting

Stuart told me he was surprised when he met me that I was so quiet. I am very sociable online, and I'm still concerned and caring offline, but I'm still a bit introverted and anti-social. I'm trying to come out more and be more social which I need to REALLY concentrate on now that I'm wanting to do this magazine. It's a very social business.

Hoeny, it's harmless, usually, but if you don't feel like you can trust her, then you have no business being with her, because love without trust is half-assed.
We all flirt online... Well, I am not allowed to at the moment... But, yeah.
The internet is where we indulge in our alternate insanities.
As long as Chuckee stays on Gaia, I never worry about her, for example.
