The morning sun brushed across the savannah, the rouge lands quite as creatures slowly stirred to awakening. It was a promise of a beautiful morning, the sky a soft blue as night slinked away, leaving room for the golden globe to start shedding warmth. Underneath a tree however, still stuck in the shade, were two creatures of quite different contrasts, and one of lovely bright pink slowly began to awake.
It took only a few moments for Nalani to open her lavender eyes, and as soon as she saw what lay beside her, she jumped up and backed away. A sick feeling spreak from her stomach, but she pushed it back as she looked down at the male with a glare, and shook her head. It was hard, but she knew it was for a good cause, and so she pushed the deep regret of touching the male behind. Slowly, she moved closer and lifted a paw to nudge the male, ears flat with hopes that he was one hell of a heavy sleeper.

Unfortunately for her, Kyprioth wasn't a heavy sleeper. At her nudge, he woke up, yawning and stretching. As soon as his eyes had cleared enough to be able to see, he glanced over to see who had poked him. He barely managed to suppress a cringe. Normally, he enjoyed waking up with a female next to him. This time . . . not so much. Granted, it had been an enjoyable night.
With a grunt of effort he pushed himself fluidly to his feet, and stretching out his limbs. It gave him a chance to try to thing of something to say. It didn't work. So, he settled for a simple, "Lovely morning, isn't it?"

As soon as he rolled over, she smoothed out her face and turned slightly to where the sun lit her profile. When he spoke she turned her eyes and let out a soft sigh before smiling, and moved to stretch her back until she felt a light pop.
"Not as lovely as last night was..." She said with a sly grin and a purr in her voice, smirking lightly as she eyed his form, "...I enjoyed it very much, Ky..."

With the ease of long practice, Kyp pasted a dashing smile on his face, and manipulated his stretch to show of his muscles. It really wasn't that important any more, but he did like to leave the ladies wanting more. At least, usually he did. His brown eyes shining, he returned her sly grin, and purred in return.
"And not as lovely as you, Nalani. I enjoyed it as well. How dazzling you look in the sunlight . . ." he suppressed a gag, realizing that he was laying it on rather thick. Kyp really didn't think it would matter though. After all, he just needed to say his goodbye's and get out of there.

She too felt a cringe, but this time it showed slightly in her eyes, and she let out a nervous laugh to cover it up. Moving back into the shade, she glanced up and down Kyp's body, pondering over the fact that she felt nothing after that, as if nothing had worked. Disappointment fluttered through her belly, but she mentally told herself to calm down, there was still time.
So instead, she moved closer, brushing her tail across his as she settled on her haunches and faced him. Her eyes landed upon his, and she looked deep into them as she thought over, trying to see if there was any connection from his side. Satisfied when there was none, she eased her face into a smile before looking to the ground.
"I hope we can enjoy another sometime in the future, but unfortunately we will have to part ways. I do love company, but I'm a female that travels on her own." Raising her chin at the last part, she looked down her nose with a soft smirk, before laughign lightly at herself. It was all flirty even when it was harsh, and she felt sick. All she wanted to do was tear her claws into his pelt and skin that smile off of his maw. She hated males, absolutely hated them, and they were only good for one thing. Cubs.

Kyprioth couldn't hide the sigh of relief at her words, and covered it with a chuckle. He could not wait to get away from this one. Something told him that he'd gotten into trouble somehow, and his entire instinct was telling him to flee. To run. Far away. As fast as he could. But he stilled it, and curiously returned her gaze when she came closer, relieved again when she moved away.
"My dear Nalani, I understand completley. I would not want to take away your freedom to travel." And I certainly wouldn't want to give up mine either, he thought to himself. "I did enjoy your company, oh so much, but I really do think it's time to be on our way."
Yeah, Kyp definitely got the feeling that he was going to seriously regret his actions last night, but for now his thoughts were focused on simply ending the interaction for good!

She glanced to the side in thought, and felt the vibes that there was something very much amiss. There was no pleasure in what happened last night, in fact it felt as if she was being played just as she played him. Getting caught in thought, she almost lost it before she focused back on him. She was growing iller by the moment because of his company and she almost gave a huge glare in his direction.
Fluffing her pelt, she glanced back and forth before getting a thought. What if this didn't work? She looked at him again, and nodded quickly, she really needed his help, and knew he would be willing for another meeting.
"Tell me, Kyp, will you be around here for awhile...? I tend to get nightmares when I'm alone, and I did enjoy your company..."

That really was the last thing on his mind, but he certainly couldn't say no. If he focused on just her body, she really was lovely. It was her personality that scared him in a way. He hadn't noticed it last night, but for some reason, he almost got the feeling that he was the one being manipulated in this situation, not her. It was not a good feeling.
Still, now he was curious, and after all, he could repress the memories later if need be. And really, if she had managed to manipulate him instead of the other way around, he certainly would be able to use the tips. After all, he'd had a lot of practice.
"W-why certainly. If you'd like me to stay for awhile, I'd be . . . happy to. Nightmares? How terrible! I shall be right by your side until you . . . tell me to leave."
He had to choke out some of the words, but he believed that he did a plausible performance, and he ended it with one of his practiced smiles, which ought to cover up any mistake he'd made.

A beautiful smile crossed her maw, one that relaxed her features for the first time in a long while. There was her fall back, incase something went amiss she could always come back for more. With a soft gaze once more over his body, she shifted so her tail waved softly behind her, the white darting like the clouds that passed the sky.
"Than I shall find you again, I did enjoy our night...and I truly do hope to run into you again Kyp..." Her eyes glanced to the ground, before she forced them back up for one last look, and turned away. She kept her form relaxed and eligant, looking around and deciding her path. And than, without so much as a goodbye or farwell, she moved off, towards the rising sun. They would meet again, she would not fail.

Kyp stared after her, torn between amusement, irritation, disgust, relief, and about a million other emotions. It was the most confused he'd been in quite awhile, and he was still unsure of exactly what had happened. What he knew for sure was that Nalani as unlike any other female he'd ever been with. And not necessarily in a good way.
He waited until she faded from sight, before he breathed a huge sigh, letting out all of the emotion and thoughts that he'd been trying to keep pent up. He both glared and smiled at the spot where she had disappeared before he turned tail and continued on his way. His next destination was unsure, but he did know that it would be as far from here as possible. Despite what he said, Kyp didn't know if he could handle another night with Nalani the leopardess.
