Tsuji sat by the river, under a tree reading a book. It was nice to get away from the house, at least for a little while. The kids and teens running around, yelling, screaming... he was getting a headache just thinking about it.

Tiamat sighed, brushing her fingers lightly back through her hair. It seemed as though it had been too long since she'd had the chance to just get outside for a while for herself. Pocketing her hands, she arched an eyebrow at the sight of one rather familiar fox. Smiling to herself, the female made her way over with easy steps before seating herself beside the distracted male. "Good afternoon, Tsuji."

Tsuji blinked and looked over at Tiamat,"H..hello Tiamat," he said surprised. "What brings you here?" He put his book mark in his book and set it down beside him.

Tiamat smiled lightly, resting her hands in her lap. "Oh, nothing in particular. I saw you sitting over here and thought I might join you. She tilted her head slightly to look at him, arching one eyebrow. "You don't mind, do you?"

"No, of course not. It's nice to see you again," Tsuji said,"What have you been up to for however its been?" He wondered if it was better than how he had been, having way more kids than he wanted to.

"And it's nice to see you again as well." Tiamat lifted one hand to brush back her hair, considering the following question for a few moments. "It's been... well enough, I suppose." she eventually remarked with an easy shrug. "Not absolutely fantastic, but not totally horrible either."

Tiamat blinked at the question, tilting her head to look at Tsuji before returning her gaze to the river. "Not that I'm aware of, at least," she remarked breezily.

Tsuji sighed and smiled internally,"Is there anyone your seeing?" He wondered if things were just like they were back then, or if things could be like that.

Moving one hand, she absently ran her fingers over the grass before resting her palm against the earth. "At the moment, no, there isn't. And what about yourself, Tsuji? Find a lovely lad or lady who can tolerate your perpetually near-grumpy attitude?"

Tsuji sat straighter upon hearing of finding a male lover. He looked away and mumbled,"I'm not into guys, I wasn't myself that night."

Tiamat chuckled softly, leaning slightly on her one hand. "You don't say? Well either way, have you or have you not found someone with the patience to stick by ya?" So blunt.

Tsuji sighed and layed his head against the tree,"I haven't been able to get out to even meet anyone new. Though from what I hear from others, I dont think I want to meet anyone else. So I guess that would be a no." He looked over at Tiamat, his head still against the tree.

Shaking her head, Tiamat plucked one strand of grass with her thumb and forefinger, twirling it absently between the pair as she listened. "Oh, not everyone is so bad as you seem to think, Tsuji."

"Not everyone may not be, but I know it doesnt bother me that I dont get out that much," Tsuji said. He looked to the river and wondered if there were fish.
