I am just wanting to see what some of you think of Marriland as a battler. In my opinion I don't think he is that good, though that is my personal opinion. His team looks easily counterable.

Okay, but he has many teams so you can judge one of them. I've already seen a few, they are very easy to beat. At least I think my new team can crush it.

Well, i've recently seen one of his battles (may need to see more to get a good judge of his overall battling skill) but the one I saw I think I could of taken his team pretty easily. Though it was the one where he beat "Untouchable" with a level 1 Rattata. I know he didn't create the idea of an Endeavor+Quick Attack+Focus Sash Rattata but it was still bad arse that he pulled it off. I must admit, I would of fallen right into that trap as well had I not seen that before. xd

Lol, Marriland's team can probably destroy my new test team xD though I am not so sure if he can handle my actual team. I am wanting to make some adjustments though. I need some ideas for a replacement.

My team:

Yanmega, Weavile, Rhyperior, Honchkrow, Starmie, Celebi. This is on Shoddy so that is how I have Celebi. I am wanting to replace Celebi for another Pokemon that can do a good job paralyzing and can sponge some attacks pretty decently. I am fighting, fire and steel weak so any ideas of what can do a good job? I was thinking maybe Slowbro, but he is way too slow to pull off T-Wave before getting killed.

What role does Starmie play on that team? Because I can see it easily being able to take over as the speedy thunderwaver that can take a few hits for you if trained it to do so. If not, could always go with a typical thunderwaving Blissey wall.

Starmie@Wise Glasses
Timid - 252 Special Attack and Speed
Natural Cure

Psychic
Surf
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam

Full out special sweeper. I used Celebi because I needed to stop Gyarados and because it can pull off Thunder Wave well. I recently found out Lucario hurts me too.

Okay, well, what about a Tangrowth that knows Amnesia and Stun Spore? Granted the speed factor isn't there, but Tangrowth is a good physical wall, and with Amnesia he should be able to fend off at least a few good special attacks. And although Stun Spore isn't as accurate as Thunder wave, on the plus side you'd at least be able to paralyze Ground-types as well.

I've thought about using a Tangrowth but the speed factor really bothered me. I would get smuthered if Stun Spore missed. If I switched my Tangrowth away from a Special Attacker I would be smacked a few times. Also, Stun Spore can also paralyze Electivire.

Well there you go. Tangrowth would work fine as long as your feeling lucky. xd

My own personaly Tangrowth looks like this if it helps:

Tangrowth @ Leftovers
Ability: Chlorophyl
Nature: Impish
244 HP 160 DEF 78 ATK 28 SPD
-Power Whip
-Sleep Powder
-Knock Off
-Stun Spore

Sleep Powder and Stun Spore for double powder effect, which both are pretty self explainatory. Knock Off cripples quite a few things with Choice Items or Leftovers which is why its included. Finally, Power Whip for the STAB.

Hmm I am a bit puzzled by double powders? Wouldn't one powder be enough, I believe two is wasting space. Why? because once you inflict one status ailiment you cannot put on another one. I know they will switch but that could makes things horrible for your retailiation. Prediction could go horribly wrong. Perhaps you should stick on Earthquake, so that way you can damage a Heatran upon them switching out. Other than that I like your EV spread.

I'm just use to using double powders on Tangela xd , be it any combination of poison powder, sleep powder or stun spore. Earthquake would be a good replacement of the double powder for a Physical oriented Tangrowth.

razz I've decided to make a whole new team in general (<< I am always making new teams) and it has been working well lately.

Gallade
Bronzong
Kingdra
Jolteon
Gengar
Honchkrow

I've been wondering how I should hack my HP's for my Diamond cause this team is only on Shoddy right now. (Yes I hack <<)
