Hi there, recently today there are soo many debates regarding the conflicting relegions.. But is it necessary to do that...! MAny beleive they are right and many claim that they are the real one, but do they really believe that their religion would really save theme? I Think not!
It is really stupid (in my opinion) to demand that we are the right one in terms of belied about GOD.... why not just do what they are intended to do basing on thier religion like on Christians... be faithful and obey the commandments... Nothing is said there that we have to kill, debate etc because we are right.... why not reach and not insult the other...
i hope this topic is new to this forum unlike my previous topic,,.. hehehehhe peace

I don't beleve that it's the religon.... I believe its their faith in something...For instance, i lost my mother to cancer two years ago and while she was suffering i was taking care of her... I kept seeing images of the mother mary all around my life at the time she was passing, now I pray to the virgin mary. She watched her son suffer and die, and I watched my mom! now I beleve that there is a strong connection between her and I...She had to be blessed to have god bless her with such an amazing man of faith and light... So just have faith in something biggrin

Some people just have no respect to other people beleifs. The only beleifs I will NEVER respect are ones like 'kill all people of colour' or 'that person should get out of this country because they're muslum'

I'm not one of those crazy people who say, "WTF?! WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU DO THAT?! It's sooo stupid", you know? In fact, my best friend is a bing christan. sweatdrop

I don't think it matters on what religon you are.Why do people even care som much about if their religon would be the right one.Iy's not like it matters. No one cares about the religon that people say is the greatest or whatever. Why does it matter to alot of people? That's the question.
I think people should beleive in what they want to beleive in and be happy about it.Not fight over which one is better. It's stupid the debate on which religon is better could start another war the world doesn't need.

Well, an issue I find with religion, is that if there is a supreme being, or beings, why do other people believe differently? Wouldn't it all be the same one if this being, or beings, was so supreme and powerful?
How I view religion is that it is a way for people to feel like they have meaning. And, that there is hope. That if we believe in this, we will be rewarded. It's a way to not lose hope.
Now, I have no problem with people who are religious, but don't preach to me. You have your beliefs, and I have mine. Besides, I'm a contradictory Catholic.

:] Christians claim that their God IS all of the Gods in other religions, but the people just view "Him" differently.
Which I think is a joke, but oh well.
I'm apparently going to hell anyways.

Let's look at the roots of everybody's religion. Islam, the Prophet Muhammad believes that he hears voices, which he soon realizes to belong to the voice of the angel, Gabriel. He believes them to be the words of God and is determined to bring those teachings to everyone. Jesus, a carpenter is born. He believes that he is the son of God, the Jews however think otherwise, and turn over the young carpenter to the Romans where he is then crucified. Paul, a Jew is shocked and appaled by what has happened, believing Jesus was the Messiah that would free them from the Romans. Paul then spreads Jesus' teachings to Jews in an attempt to convert them to the new faith, Christianity. So essentially religions are made by a bunch of crackpots who think they are/were important.

:]Small correction, but Christians DO NOT believe that their God is all of the gods in other religions.

I don't know about Islam, but you obviously did not do your homework on the roots of Christianity. Christians believe Jesus WAS the son of God, born to a carpenter, which was the trade he learned until he started his teaching minstry at 30 years of age. Jesus didn't "believe he was the son of God" he actually SAID HE WAS THE SON OF GOD, which, to the Jews was heresy and they had him condemned and after a kangaroo court, handed him over to the Romans to be killed. What sets Christianity apart from other Religions is that it is the ONLY religion that claims their God came in human form, lived among the people, was killed and came back to life. Paul was one of those men who actively pursued those who believed Jesus came back to life after his death. He had whole families carted off to jail or killed, but on his way to Damascus, he had a vision in which he did a 180 and became a Christian himself. By the way, early Christians WERE Jews. So who's the crackpot?
