Kijeshi had lived in the jungle before in his earlier years, and it was, in fact, his birthplace. Yet as he grew older and older he felt the borders of the jungle so limiting, so...suffocating. So the minute he could get out he did, and never chanced to return should he run into whatever was left of his old family. He'd long since forgotten them, after all, and could only recall the faces of his mother and father on the loneliest of nights. But today, in the early morning, he was passing by the jungle, and Kijeshi found he couldn't take his caramel eyes off of it's borders for several moments on end. So, after much contemplation, the young leopard made his way toward his old home.
He was but a quarter of the way into the jungle until he felt his body weakening, perhaps from the lack of sleep the night before. So he found a comfortable looking tree and made his way to one of its branches, stumbling a bit of the way up because his eyes were half closed. And Kijeshi lay down with a quiet yawn, eyes still half open to make sure nothing life-threatening would make its way toward him before he fell completely to sleep.
