Prana walked up the path to Waya's home, fidgeting with her gloves slightly. She'd only been here once before with Karan. Hopefully she'd still be good company without him along. Truthfully, she was so excited to be seeing Waya again she was afraid of making a fool of herself.
Straightening her hair quickly, she took a deep breath on the doorstep before reaching out a pale finger to ring the doorbell.

Waya had been busy all morning preparing lunch for the two of them - with minor distractions from his siblings. After several attempts at something edible the man went with the easy mac... Yep. Macaroni and cheese, hot dogs, and apple pie for dessert. Hell he wasn't a cook but at least he could boil water.
When the doorbell rang, he'd turn to glance at the door. Makeing sure the table was set and the food out of earch from mischevious siblings, the young male moved for the door.
A smile passed his lips as he tugged it open, looking straight at Prana. "Hey... Come on in. I have lunch ready in the kitchen." He greated then informed, shutting the door once Prana was inside.

Prana stepped inside, looking around Waya's home and noting what was the same and what had changed since her last visit.
"You...cooked by yourself? She asked, looking at him quizzically. Her 'Aunt' was such a great cook, she wasn't used to doing any cooking herself. A smile crept onto her face at the thought of Waya in the kitchen, wearing a fluffy apron, and she choked down a giggle before following him to the kitchen.

His ears pressed against the top of his head, "Well.. if you call hotdogs cooking. You just boil them until they float, it's not really anything difficult. That and mac n' cheese." He shrugged slightly as he lead the girl to the kitchen, pulling out a chair for her to sit.
"What do you want to drink? Milk, water, juice or soda?" Oh what a gentleman, not letting her do anything. Well was the one that invited her over.

Prana only smiled. She was glad the food was simple. She likes simple things, and they fact that Waya hadn't bent over backwards to cook her fancy foods made her feel a bit better.
"I like hot dogs." Prana said cheerfully. "Water would be good, too." She looked at the proffered chair, and then at Waya before turning and sitting in it. She felt a bit self conscious of her size just then, and tried to hide the fact that she kind of had to stand on her toes a little to get comfortable when she sat.
"Thank you, Waya."

Waya nodded to her, stepping to the counter to serve up the food. A spooful of noodles and a hot dog each. They could have seconds of course though Waya hardly ate.
Ketcup, mustard and relish were set down next before waya got the two of them a glass of water. Once it was all settled, he sat down across from her. "Eat." he smiled, lifting his fork to start on the cheesey noodles.
"So what have you been up to since the last time I saw you? Well, before at the HQ obviously.'

Prana paused, the fork halfway to her lips before placing it down again.
"Nothing much."She ate a forkful of macaroni and chewed it thoughtfully for a moment. "You look like you've been busy though. You're...bigger than the last time I saw you." She looked down at her plate, nudging her food apprehensively and hoping that the statement wouldn't offend Waya. Honestly, she thought he was very handsome, but she knew some of the Legends tended to feel strange when they grew bigger.

He'd blink at her, having forgotten his change. "Aah, mom said I went through a growth spurt," he started. "Though I still look like a kid she says. I apparently have young face she envies. She's getting ooold." He laughed, knowing the woman died her greys due to the stress.
"Howis Karan doing? I haven't seen him in a long time either. I've just been a little busy doing my own thing in the woods now and then. I like being outside rather than in the house."

"Growth spurt? Maybe I'll have one soon too." She chuckled at Waya's joke at his guardian's expense. The thought of his Guardian having Waya's face was funny too.
Prana perked up at the mention of the woods, completely forgetting the mention of Karan. "You have woods? I haven't been in a very long time. My Guardian used to take me. We'd sleep outside in tree houses." She grinned despite herself at the memories. "I always liked it best at night. How about you? What do you do out there?"
It seemed that this simple statement was all it took to break the ice on Prana's side at least.

Waya paused in the serving of the meal to look at his younger guest, his head cocking slightly to the side. Well, there was a thought. "Do you want to just eat out in the woods then? I know a good place where I usualy go to spend alone time. It's flat enough to eat out there..." He offered, waiting for the answer. It would be pointless to finish serving everything just to pack it all up.
"A picnic in the woods, girls like that don't they?" He teased, knowing girls did that kind of romantic mushy stuff. He just liked it in the woods. "After I'll show you around... There's a lot of birds and animals and of course plants around you might enjoy. I try taking my siblings around but they scream and shout so much they scare everything away before they get to see it."

Prana's eyes went wide.
"We can eat outside? I'd love that." She grinned hugely, though at Waya's gentle tease her cheeks flushed a bit. "I think boys like eating outside too, not just girls." If she was bolder, she might have stuck her tongue out at the boy to tease him back. Instead she just chuckled a bit at him. "Besides, girls like picnics in the park, not the woods."
Prana was so excited she pushed her chair back and hopped to her feet. "Can I help you pack up?" Two hands would see them outside faster than one, and she didn't want Waya to have to do all the work.

"Or picnics on the beach... Though beaches are to sandy for my liking." He mused out loud, taking a glace at the girl when she offered to help. Waya simply nodded, "I see no reason not to let you help. Why don't you pack up the rest of the food and I'll go get a blanket for us to sit on, that and anything else I might think of."
Smiling, he'd walk away to do just that. So soon enough the pair was heading out into the woods, Waya leading the girl to a nice clear spot: shady and yet the sun still managed to peak through here and there.
"I love it here.. spend a lot of time in this area. So, make yourself at home." He offered, spreading out the blanket so the two of them could sit and relax. "What time do you need to be home Prana?"

Prana sat on the blanket, sighing as she leaned back on her hands. She inhaled deeply, taking in the scent of the earth and the grass and the sea. It felt so good to be outside, she almost didn't hear Waya's question.
"Home? Oh...before dark, I suppose. Aunt DS didn't really say a specific time." She sat up straighter, looking at Waya fully. "Do you want me to go soon? I'd...like to stay for a while if I could." Her green eyes fixed on him steadily, asking softly to let her stay.
"What do you like to do out here, Waya?"
