LOL... but in honesty, I'd rather they not debate there. Some people give the most sweatdrop of debates and replies. Like Clud wuuud nevah go widd Teef, he lurves aEriThhhh111 >__> Or something of the sort..
Back when I used to be in the Naruto Forums, one person would start a Who should be with thread and a whole flame war starts.. sigh.. well it's possibly the reason why I stayed away from the NF after that.. It's like lighting a match in a room of dynamite...Crazy times..

Some one in that thread said,

Where, oh where in FFVII does it say Tifa is a slut!? scream Seriously.. they don't have anything to back them up on that statement. So what if she's more gifted? It's not like she had them transplanted or anything. Want someone to blame? Blame the artist! D:
And the way she dresses, well she's not exactly a ninja or a flower girl, is she? She's a the owner of a bar and a bartender at that! It also helps her move more fluidly.
Some girls just hate her because she attracts fanboys, lolz. xD

There's a difference between "Slutty" and "Pretty". x'D Tifa loves one man, doesn't flirt avidly, and doesn't use her looks to get what she wants, nor does she sleep with multiple men, or Cloud for that matter (or did she? XD). The Ultimania said that she dresses up for Clouds return, but I thought that was cute. x'D
Dressing up for a guy you like, doesn't mean you're a slut either. rolleyes

A lot of people like Aeris, and dislike Tifa, so they try to find proof that the game is actually showing you that couple because they want their flower girl to get the guy. They keep forgetting she loves Zack, not Cloud, and that she's supportive of their relationship because she never really loved the real Cloud in the first place. That's the shame really, that it's based on such a bias. Aeris is my favourite out of the main party, and even though she seemed interested in Cloud at the beginning, I didn't go, "OMG! Tifa, get lost!" XP I let the story play out the way it did. Anyone who thinks Aeris wouldn't be happy for Cloud and Tifa doesn't understand her character at all. Tifa may have not liked the way Aeris was moving in on Cloud, but the Ultimania tells us that once she realizes Cloud isn't chasing her because of romance, Tifa's overreaction goes away and she remembers how much she cares for Aeris.

Ah yes....if people could step away from all the pairing drama and look at the individual characters. They could see how beautiful and amazing both Tifa and Aeris are without prejudice.

I don't understand why some people think that they hated each other. sad Just because they're rivals doesn't mean that they weren't friends. They were close friends at that too, knowing one another better than anyone else. That's true friendship right there.
