A handy list of our Purkle Places offsite for those of us who lose our way or don't have access to our bookmarks at other computers, OR haven't joined one place or another and decide they want to!
Got any more? Let me know!

Brevelan There's a myspace couch??? Eh, kinda. I don't know if I ever posted there, and it's been inactive for so long now. But it's there!

Yeah, I created it a long time ago, figured we needed a presence there, no matter how inactive we were.
There is also a Purkle map: http://www.frappr.com/purklecouch
And fawN, do we want to add the O21G Facebook group for us oldbies? Kind of to note our history?

I keep getting all these messages that someone has sent me this or that and I have like 150 events to take care of and don't have the first clue on it at all.

roocee I keep getting all these messages that someone has sent me this or that and I have like 150 events to take care of and don't have the first clue on it at all. Basically, every time someone adds an "application" (game, quiz, cute thing), they are usually required to invite others. Go through the events and see if it looks interesting to you. If you do, join, if not, ignore. No one will even know that you "ignored" them, and most people won't be offended.

Well that is helpful. I didn't know the person wouldn't know if they were ignored or not.

I don't really understand facebook yet either, but I only joined to try the gaia widgit, and I couldn't figure out what to do to earn the exclusive item(s), and I haven't tried again since.

I actually haven't even TRIED the Gaia widget yet...
But Rue, don't worry about ignoring anything you aren't interested in. If it looks like something you want to try, go for it, then you can always get rid of it later.

I've got the Gaia Widget on Bebo. It's not difficult to get the items, just tedious. I think it's the same on facebook. It's hard to explain in words. lol If you guys are interested, I can make some screenies and try to explain it.
