I began tackling it a few days ago, and am currently working on my pronunciation. The language itself is fairly average in difficulty, but the sound of the language I'm finding difficult to replicate.
I picked up other accents (like Japanese) fairly quickly, so the French accent and pronunciation being so unique and significant was a bit of a shock. gonk
Do we have any French speakers? If so, d'you have any personal tips that you wouldn't mind sharing?

Yah, I know what you mean. French is probably the most formidable of the romantic languages. I've got 4 years of Italian under my belt, but I really can't remember any of it.
Speaking of Belts... Am I even wearing pants...? xd
I'm picking up Chinese as part of my job. Lemme tell you, that's a TOUGH TONGUE. I don't even try to write it yet.
