The joy of listening to music and not knowing what is being said! (I'd rather that then listen to English stuff where I can't understand some of the words.) I really want to learn Japanese...

Sadly, I have moved away from many of my favorite JRock groups, being that my cd wallet with many of the cds my dad got me years ago from Japan was stolen out of my truck in my own freaking apartment parking lot.
*fumes*
Though, I do still hold a special place in my heart for Dir en Grey.
Something funny... my family and I rented Saw IV one night, and as we were exploring the extra features, I jumped up and screamed to stop on the music video by X Japan. My spouse and sister looked at my like I was insane.

I love L'arc~en~Ciel. They were the first J-Rock band that I discovered on my own. My friends are trying to get me into the band Gazette. But I need to hear the music without the video first. So I've found some CD's on Ebay that I may get my mom to buy me.

I wonder if the person who stole your CD's is unhappy with their choice... it's not like it's something they could listen to, and it might be hard to pawn them. At any rate... sorry that they got stolen.
I got into L'arc~en~Ciel because of Hyde, who is the singer. I only have one CD, but since I love Hyde's voice, I would like more.

Wow. I haven't really pursued JRock since I was in highschool (and that was a few years ago... eh heh heh...). Here, there are names I have never heard of before, and now I have something to look up.
