No no no!

This is my first winter on the east coast and we've gotten barely any snow. You can all send some this way...which actually is going to have since I hear we'll get about an inch tonight wink

we haven't gotten much snow on long island this winter. not that I am complaining. I just wish it would warm up so I could go back to wearing flipflops

Ugh, there's so much snow where I am. It's piling p so high along the streets that it's becoming a safety hazard. It's so hard to see oncoming traffic at intersections. gonk

We got rain and then it rained more. Then the temp dropped and it snowed on top of the new ice! I'm sick of it. It's so bad that hubby slid back down the hill in the jeep this morning. The ground is an ice-rink.

Well having to live in California for the winters growing up, I will never get sick of snow, but it is about time it starts moving on I would say! Kevin and I went up to the city last Saturday because I needed some art supply replacements (Our dog got hold of some of my stuff! BAD DOG!) So we decided to make a day out of it!

We made sure the dogs had plenty of exercise and went to the bathroom as much as they could before we put them in their crates for the day (the little one will chew things up, we crate the other one to make it fair.) And then we headed for the city. I didn’t hear any thing about snow in the weather report, so we decided to go to as many places as possible, after all we don’t get out of this dinky town that often. Well we were driving to the Denny’s to eat when it started snowing! By the time we got there it had started sticking, so we decided to just get back in the car and just go home, we would eat when we got back.

And oh my goodness! It was snowing so hard, I could barley see the lines on the road! I was driving 35 on the highway. For the conditions it was reasonable, but there were still people flying by me! How they could see I have no idea! At one point we were going to turn around and just stay the night, until we remembered the dogs were still at home unfed and crated. Since no one has an extra key to our apartment, we had to just keep going. It was terrible!

Bad snow! Bad!

I live in Arkansas. And the saying around her is "if you don't like the weather, wait a few minuets." It couldn't be truer hear lately! Last weekend I was running around in shorts and a tank. Laying outside in the grass reading and then flying a kite. This weekend... its snowing!!! I swear Arkansas is going through menopause.

We had 6 inches yesterday and so far we're up to 9 this morning. I turned the goats out of their stall and they ran out the gate. They didn't get far. As soon as they got into the snow they turned and ran back into their stall and waited for me to out their hay and grain out for them. LOL

And it's still snowing! We're under a level 2 snow emergency and they aren't plowing the roads out here at all. Hubby had to go to work this morning and it was sleeting and snowing. With his job he has to go in no matter what. If it gets much worse then he will stay in the sleeping rooms at work tonight. And the cat (who is not allowed on our bed) will get to sleep nex to my feet tonight! She's a good foot warmer! What hubby doesn't know won't hurt anyone! rofl

Wow. Arkansas has the same motto as Utah. Seriously, you could wear shorts and a parka in the same day.. Get burned and frostbite from your door handle in one day.. We get bizarre weather because we live in a pretty enclosed valley.. It gets smoggy, which is so gross, but it rained (while it was sunny!) on Saturday. Other than that, it's been light jacket weather.

We get a bit of humidity rain (at lest thats what I call it when it rains while it is sunny) in Arkansas. Usually in the Spring, its crazy. It isn't nice rain either. It is gross and humid and yucky! stressed
