The sun was just making its way into the sky, the chilly clouds disappearing and the breezes calming down from the small storm the night before. Sango awoke with a start. She had a pulsing sensation that something was about to happen. Worried, she glanced at her two darling orbs, but they were sound asleep by her side. They hadnt hatched yet. They would probably be coming out soon...
She yawned at she got up and stretched her limbs. Her long hair hung freely and blew into her face as she rubbed her eyes. Sango and the orbs had been taking refuge in a cave until the children came out from their orbs. She walked to the back of the small and tidy cave where her fighting clothing lay. She picked up her hair band and tied up her hair as it usually was.
That was when she heard a crack. She froze, the birds flew past up above. More cracks came. She spun around and rushed to her orbs. They were hatching! The two minya crawled out of their orbs and blinked at the bright sun coming out of its hiding. They were two girls! Sango could feel her eyes becoming warm as she tried to hold back the tears. She couldnt help but weep in happiness as she clung to her two girls, the tears streaming past her cheeks. She remembered her fathers words and his teachings, how warriors dont cry. She wiped away the tears shamefully with her free paw, the other holding up two tiny minya.

Aiko had just started to yawn and stretch her newly freed limbs when suddenly she was swept off of her feet and cling tightly to by a bigger warm thing that smelled a lot like herself. Giving off a soft purr, she snuggled into the other, her mind automatically setting this larger Minya as her mother.
She was well aware of another, smaller form next to her, who also smelled like her and her mom.

Kimi blinked. The sun was very bright, and it was something she hadnt seen before. Before she could analize the sun she was picked up by a large figure that stood in front of the sun so she couldnt see what it looked like. This figure was very soft and warm, and she enjoyed being cuddled by it. It smelled very nice too. Like flowers. Kimi smiled and let out a giggle. She noticed another person next to her, also being picked up. It was bigger than her. She blinked her big beautiful blue eyes and tilted her head, looking at her sister that was cuddling into their mother. She crawled her way across her mothers arm to her sister and gave her a big hug.

Aiko blinked and gave a small surprised noise as Kimi hugged her, then purred even louder and returned the affection. After a few minutes, she squirmed, wanting to get out of her mother's arms and go exploring. She'd never seen such a bright light before, and there were so many different things that made her nose feel funny whenever she breathed in, and she wanted to find out where it was coming from. There were also so many different noises; oh the noises were wonderful! For the time that she was in the orb, all she could hear was her own heart beat and the occasional muffled sound that she now realized was probably her mother.

Kimi slowly fell asleep. She was not used to so much warmth and loving all at once from inside her desolate orb. She suckled on her thumb as she curled up in her mother's arms.
Sango smiled at her daughters, giggling at the way they acted towards each other. It gave her a warm and fuzzy feeling. She decided to name them right there and then. The one that was squirming in her arms wanted to be put down. She put her down and knelt beside her.
"Your name is Aiko." she said and gave her a warm and motherly smile.
"And your name little sleepy girl is Kimi." she whispered as the little minya was snoring. She gave it a little kiss on the head as she called out to Aiko,
"Stay close!"

'Aiko', what a pretty name, and now it was all hers! Standing up a bit wobbly, she still had to get used to using her legs. She started walking, and took about three steps before her little legs gave out and plopped her on the ground.

Sango let out a gasp as her motherly worries surfaced. She rushed to Aiko and picked her up, examining her everywhere.
"Are you ok Aiko?" she asked.
After only a few moments of sleep Kimi woke up. Kimi... she liked that name. She watched her sibling try to walk and giggled at her futile attempt. She struggled and twisted around in Sango's arms, wanting to be let down. After her mother let her down, she tried to stand but plopped onto the ground. Furiated with her defeat, she stood up and gained her balance. She walked around 10 steps before she fell again. However, she was still pleased with herself. She looked over at Aiko, who was bigger than her, but she was a better walker! She stuck out her tongue at her sister teasingly.

Aiko squirmed as Sango inspected her. "Nyaaaaaah!" She complained, wanting to try again. Out of the corner of her big brown eyes, she could see her sister managing to take 10 whole steps! Slowly getting back on her feet, she stayed there until she had her balance, then slowly began walking. She concentrated on putting one paw in front of the other, keeping her balance. Once she got to 14 steps, she stopped, still on her feet, and grinned to her sister.

Kimi pouted as her sister managed to take 14 steps. She groaned and stood up again. She was getting better at keeping her balance. She walked without bothering to concentrate, her nose held high in the air with her eyes closed. She took 18 whole steps before she tripped over a small rock and tumbled over head first. "Eeeeeeeee!" she screeched in shock. She had hit her head and could feel a small lump growing. She sat up and reached to her head with her paws. Then she realized that she had long hair! It was so pretty... She put her paws through it many times and liked its silky flow.

Aiko's eyes widened as she watched her sister fall face first. Without thinking, she scrambled over to make sure that Kimi was ok. Gently she nuzzled her sister, a worried look on her face. Purring a little, she softly licked Kimi's cheek. She was fully unaware that she didn't have hair, that she looked different from her mother and sister.

Kimi looked at Aiko and blushed at the affection of her dear sister. She smiled and huggled her, pushing her over as the two of them tumbled and rolled around playfully. Kimi thought she couldnt be any happier than she was now with her sister. The two of them rolled out of the cave and their mother followed them to make sure they were safe.

Squeeking in surprise as she toppled over with her sister, Aiko quickly changed into her playful mood. A soft, non-threatening growl came from her as she and her sister wrestled with one another. As they rolled out of the cave, she could feel something different on the ground; grass. In the cave, nothing was growing, but here, there was this soft carpet of green stuff below them.
Breaking from the little wrestle match, she looked around. There were things EVERYWHERE that were new. There were brown things with green balls on top, there were green things on the ground, some with brightly colored attachments that gave off a pleasant smell.

Kimi enjoyed wrestling with her sister. It was the most fun in the whole world! They rolled out of the cave and she could feel some kind of soft thing underneath them. It was green. She saw so many news things around her. So many new scents. She stood up and gained her balance, walking over to a flower. It smelt very nice. Maybe it was food! She thought, and took one large bite at the flower.
It didn't taste that good. She opened her mouth and let the still whole looking flower fall out. Then she tumbled around and fell onto the floor from the strong scent of the flower.
((We should be thinking about closing this one up and opening a new one where they're all grown up.))

Aiko ran after her sister, worried. The grass was certainly something new and exciting; it was soft and stood out against her fur! And the flowers, they were absolutely attention demanding. They smelled pretty, but Aiko didn't have the urge to eat one, after seeing her sister spit one out.
