The newly emerged foal finally got away from her caretaker to explore. It had been two hole days since she had left the comfort of her basket, and she hadn't been able to explore because of her basket-bound 'mother.' She began weaving in and out of trees in the dense forest, the little snow that was able to elude the dense branches above crunching beneate her feet. Small giggles emerged from Dusty Trails' lips as her small frame leapt toward a small animal which name she'd yet to discover. It scuttled away, and she shouted, "Come back! I want to be your friend!"

"Hey, get back here, I'm going to get you!" Shouted a young dark colored colt as he seemed to be chasing something that no one could see. Nothing stirred before him, only the blushes behind him swayed in his wake. "Get back here!"
It had been a good day, until something, though all in his mind, ran into him and he took chase. Weaving through the trees, Eton chased after his invisible prey not knowing how far he had traveled from home. His purple/blue eyes looking straight a head. He looked much like a moving shadow had it not been for his flashy colored wings and his blue tipped pale mane and tail. Slowing a bit he looked around thinking her had lost his prey. Phooy.
"Aw man. Not again." He pouted as his dark ears twitched hearing something not too far off. A grin coming to him. "I've got you this time," He smiled.
Charging forward again, he headed straight toward where he had heard something. Though only to come to a skidding halt, nearly colliding with another foal. Wings fluttering at his sides like little parachutes, his rump sliding a long the ground. Well that wasn't what he was chasing before...
"Have you seen a little creature come through here?" Eton asked looking around for his imaginary prey. "I could have sworn it came this way..."

Dusty's eyes widened at the colt. She hadn't met any foals before, and she most certainly hadn't seen any wings. Unable to speak, the filly just stared, shaking her head slowly. What were they, how on earth did the colt manage to get some, and where could she get some?
Finally gaining her voice, she blurted, "What are THOSE? I want some!" She'd forgotten about the small animal and her own chase by now, and didn't care about anything but the feathery things attatched to Eton's back.

OK... so he didn't exactly get his answer, it seemed that his wings were the thing that got the most attention. Turning his head toward his downy wings he glanced back at the filly. Blinking a couple times, his head tilted to one side. Hadn't she seen wings before? Certainly she had seen wings before, right? Apparently not as she had asked what they were.
"They are wings, they will let me fly when I'm older." Eton stated baking away from the filly folding them back to his sides. "I... I don't think you can get any unless you were born with them. My... My name's Eton, what's yours? He asked hoping that she wouldn't be so ecstatic about his wings when she had to answer questions.
Well this was making his head hurt, why was she staring him as if he was some new creature? He had to wonder is he really was different then all the other Soquili in the place. Looking a round a little, he wondered where he had gotten too, these trees didn't exactly look the same as before... Oh he was in trouble when he got home, if he got home that night...

What did he mean, she couldn't get any? Huffing slightly, Dusty pouted. She wanted some, and was determined to get some. That was, of course, he asked her name. "Mommy calls me Dusty. I think it's short for something, but I don't know."
At seeing the colt look around, she did the same, and began to panic when she realized that she didn't know where she was. "D-do you know where we are?"

"Dusty? That's a nice name, you do look like you are covered in dust." Eton nodded.
When things turned toward knowing where they were, he hadn't any idea. He knew that somewhere behind him was home... Somewhere. He hadn't any idea of where he was, the trees didn't look quite the same, nor did he smell the scent of his family. Had he really chased his pest this far? Wow, he was in deep trouble.
"Er... I was hoping you would know where we were," Eton pointed out before turning back the way he had come. "Home for me I think is that way, or is it that way?" he wondered looking around, he was sure in a pickle. "Where's your home at?"

"Uh... Thanks, I guess." Unsure of whether it was meant as a compliment or not, she tried to ignore it.
"Well, I was running around in the trees like this..." Swurving through the trees she thought she'd passed before, she added, "But they all really look alike, don't they? Mommy says I shouldn't go out in the forest 'cause I might get lost." She, of course, being as hot-headed as her father, couldn't be lost. "Mommy never did really know much, though. I think we'll find our way home. If not, somebody will be looking for us. I know it." Not exactly sure if somebody would look for her, the filly sighed. Midori had to watch over two baskets, and she didn't know anybody else that would be worried. Instead of thinking of the possibility, she stated, "We should play a game!"
