Personally I was wonder what other people think the best Professions for hunter are. If you feel like listing the Secondary professions you can. But most people get every one of those just cause they can.
I personally think Mining/Engineering was Made for hunters. You can make guns, bullets, explosives, random things, fun stuff, more explosives, mechanical pets, goggles at 375, mounts, jumper cables, oh and more explosives.
Engineering is just over all great.

I think skinning/leatherworking is good for Hunters to learn because well... they're Hunters... plus, they wear leather, so what better than to beable to make your own clothes!

I have leatherworking (dragonscale) and skinning. Engineering is ok but I use a Bow and not a gun. Nor do I pvp much, at least not until lvl 70.
LW dragonscale, I like to make my own armor and not worry about the AH prices.

Personally, I'm a JC/miner. I just took it for the money, not the armor and weapons. Although mining/bs wouldn't be bad if you went weaponsmith. Master Axesmithing axes are among the best in the game, and some are amazing for hunters. I dunno...

yeah mining and engineering is really good, but leatherworking/skinning isnt as good after level 40 when hunters can use mail, my hunter uses herbalism/alchemy and its quite handy since hunters dont have nifty spells for breathing underwater or healing like magic using classes
